I had my marriage registration nearby and decided to have a private lunch with my family at the Opus One in Hotel Du Vin Wimbledon. Right from the get go of the query initially, the team were an absolute pleasure to work with. The location is stunning - the Opus One is a private events space and at the back your guests are able to walk into a flower garden for some fresh air. The estate is stunning to explore and definitely great backdrops for photographs. It's a slight trek to get to the location, I had to take a cab from Wimbledon station but they have ample parking. On the day, everyone was so friendly and helpful from the reception staff, the bell boy, the servers. They were very on point with service. The food was delicious, we opted for a set bbq buffet and it was ample portion which I was honestly surprised about as sometimes venues only serve small portions for a set lunch. My point of contact from the events team is Kristyna and she was so lovely to work with. Even though my event was small (only 16 guests) at no point did the team ever make me feel insignificant. Plus you get great value for money and a service that exceeds expectations.
