This hotel is in an office district, so for those wanting to experience London as a tourist it might not be the best location for you. To get here from Paddington station the easiest way is go up the ramp on platform 8. If catching the Heathrow express this means exiting the pay gates and doing u turn to go up platform 8 ramp. Take 3 short stairs then turn right to go under covered walkway. Then turn left once you exit walkway and you will come to a canal. Keep going left with canal on your right. As you get to a bridge with word art light sign on the wall, take a left immediately after the bridge. You will get to a square with stairs leading down to Pret a Manger, Itsu, Greggs, Sainsbury Local and Chinese restaurant Pearl Liang. Pass by this square (don’t go down the stairs) and you will get to a road going uphill with Novotel easily seen on the side of the building. Hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment. I liked the breakfast in particular the cold selection which changed each day. The guacamole is good - nice hint of onion and spice. You can order scrambled eggs/omlette in addition to buffet breakfast. Room was clean but our room was not refurbished Small pool. Reception and housekeeping staff friendly.
