Room was completely updated since our last stay.  Very clean and comfortable and Ali was more then accommodating.  Nice location close to Village with trolley that saves you from finding and paying for parking
I will definately stay when I am in Lake George again.

Great Motel At A Great Price

Place is a dump. 

Got a guy literally in the parking lot smoking a bowl while management is pounding on my door telling me to stop smoking marijuana and the hotel room because the next door neighbors are complaining. I'm with my wife and daughter. How quaint.  Dated doesn't bother me.  The lack of maintenance, however.. is.  Ya GOTTA do basic stuff. Not ... rickety plastic fence to guard the cracking pool. Or that the " backyard" is a swing set from 1985 and a wire fence that prevents your fall into the creek. 

I didn't like the accusations. Certainly didn't like being charged FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for two days, or the 2 foot driveway drop out front that jumped my truck four feet in the air. Nice touch. The yellowed microwave, puddle of water from a defunct fridge, and bathroom tile work saved by 46 tube of white caulk.

But yea. It's eh.... " got thar lived in charm " 

Would have rather booked a tent

Old expression in life you get what you pay for. This place is old and outdated. The only thing that was good was the cable TV. The bed with old. Bathroom disgusting. The drapes on the windows looks like from 1970. Out by the pool there were guests playing loud music where if you're in your room it sounded like it was just outside it was horrible and management did nothing about. The the walls are paper-thin and all you hear is the people in the Next Room talkin. I would not recommend this place for couples or family. But like I said you get what you pay for the price was cheap and I should know better

I should have just slept in the car

The motel is a disaster under new ownership.
I called to reserve a night and realized the owner was charging me more than the online listed price. I pointed this out and the owner got very defensive and curse words were being used. Save yourself the hassle and pay a tiny bit more for a much better experience. Not even worth it as a 2 star motel.
Ended up staying at Brookside motel, Lake George which was much better!

New owner is unprofessional!

Planned a weekend trip to Lake George with some friends. New owner was very rude and not accommodating about me arriving near the closing time of the office (9PM). After letting the owner know that I was in traffic and would arrive around 9PM, he began getting angry and heated. Why say your office is open till 9PM when you won't acknowledge that .. SMH

Terrible customer service

We arrived Friday evening and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist.
We were given a room number and headed right in. 
Clean and neat bathroom was spotless.
Absolutely no odor in the room.
Pool was clean and the water crystal clear. 
We hope to return again before summer ends.
I say it was a great experience.

Location is just north of the strip but with free parking, wi fi and pool, this outdated motel offers what the others do at a more reasonable price and you can still walk if you are not worried about doing a 1.5 km trek. Room is clean, smelled fine, fridge, t.v. but bathroom was in need of repair.

Motel is Motel so gotta keep that in mind

Just of I-87 and only a 5 minute drive to LG center. If your looking for a "Holiday Inn" quality and it's larger price, this is NOT it. You get what you pay for, clean outdoor pool, a decent, but old room...bed that could be a bit hard but a good value. It's quiet. Rooms have a fridge and microwave...the A/C is old but works great. From what we heard, hotel is under new owners, so what some folks are saying here might be because the new owners are playing catch up on certain issues? Plenty of parking. There are a few deficiencies....not in all rooms but definitely was in our room (#36). The water pressure in the shower was okay...but several times it instantly changed to either ICE cold or SCALDING hot...and needed immediate correcting! Not an issue for an adult....but a small child taking a shower, that's a problem ! Also...I'm sure code req. in NY and the same as CT....if you have an electrical outlet near water, it MUST be a GFI outlet to prevent electrical shock....our's was NOT!  Again, not an issue for an adult....mentioned this at checkout...hopefully they are corrected in the "off" season?

Decent hotel, close to town!

We needed a place to stay and online it seemed fine. We walk into the room, and it's awful. The smell. The bed. Then we walk into the bathroom and theres black mold all along the tub. For the $170 we paid, we were disgusted. We got our money refunded and left. 

Dont waste your time. 

I paid 100.00 for this outdated ugly room,bathroom is from the 70’s as is the sleeping quarters. 2 teenage kids running the place. It looks like a scene from a horror movie not the friendliest people stay there either, my suggestion is spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else...
