What a fantastic place to enjoy! Spent 2 nights in a queen room with a view of the mountain top in Feb for my birthday. Room is historically furnished but beds have been updated and reasonable comfortable. The tap water comes from the mountain aquifer and is so pure they have it in a decanter for your enjoyment. All the food options at the lodge are wonderful! Blue Ox Bar has great pizza, Ram’s Head Bar has Mac N Cheese and an impressive salad. Cascade Dining Room has gourmet traditional breakfasts, as well as a complimentary continental breakfast for guests. Coffee and tea are also available in the first floor lobby from 6 to 9ish. The outdoor swimming pool is heated to a comfortable 90’, and the jacuzzi is as long as the pool! Towels are available poolside, and entry is gated by a daily code. Bring your own bathrobe (unless you are in a king room) as it gets chilly out there. Warm up in the dry/wet sauna afterwards! And don’t forget to track down the resident St Bernard’s, Bruno and Heidi, who can be found in various locations throughout the day! Can’t wait for our next visit!
