Room was very comfortable and spacious. Pet friendly, which is always appreciated. Mike at the desk was extremely helpful and informative of things in the area. Will certainly stay here again if traveling this way and recommend to others. Thank you for a great visit.

Comfortable Room

We had 8 rooms reserved here and they accommodated all of our needs for the one night Bachelor Party we threw. Transportation was great to and from the casino. 

My wife and I have stayed here close to 15 times! The best spot to stay for an affordable room and free transportation to and from Mohegan.

Best Bachelor Party & Hospitality

Checked in with s friendly receptionist, asked for a blanket when we went to dinner and it was there when I got back. Room was very roomy with a mini fridge, microwave, table, two Queens a desk and a chair...  Older building but still nice.

Found the hotel room very clean and roomy.  Two full size beds in the room and was   able to take the Marriott (next door) shuttle to Mohegan Sun is a plus. No pool or restaurant in the hotel but most people who stay are going to Mohegan Sun Casino. Would return to this hotel in the future.

Had a pleasent stay

Shocked to see this hotel is still recommended by BringFido. This is an abandoned property, which clearly houses partiers or hobos (strong pot, cigarette, and urine smells in halls and rooms); and has not been cleaned in ages.  It is "managed" by the adjacent Courtyard by Marriott, which is where one must check in, but they take zero responsibility for its upkeep.    I checked in warily, and ran out as soon as I experienced the hallway and opened the room door.  Filthy.    Pet-friendly was the bait.  Got a full refund within 5 minutes, by calling Bring Fido, and got a better recommendation, but am shocked to see it still represented here.  Definitely will question BringFido properties in future.

DISGUSTING IS TOO LENIENT A DESCRIPTION

Filthy and no smoking room reeks of smoke.  Zero customer service. No instructions on how to check in.  Manager does not respond.  Clean white socks after walking on carpet. Clock busted. First night shower, 8" of water. Room that I was originally assigned was not cleaned or made up despite having made reservations in May!

Disgusting and Gross

We found a dead bug in our bed, someone else's hair in the shower and the counter tops, and cigarette burns in the sheets. It was so dirty and there was no manager on duty to report it to. We didn't feel comfortable sleeping there so we left and drove 2 hours home instead. I called the next morning to inform management. He told me he would check it out and then called me back to accuse me of the room being used so there would be no refund.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

The Rosemont Suites is conducting a Bait & Switch Scam - we were evacuated from our park during the last hurricane (Henri) - we drove through the hurricane because ANDY at the front desk I guess was too busy to answer the phone for 26 hours so we can see if we could check in early with our cat - THAT'S THE BAIT = PET FRIENDLY. If they never stated they were pet friendly we would have never booked through CheapTickets / EXPEDIA which helps these hotels with the bait & switch customers. After 12 days CheapTickets say they will abide by the hotel's policy, even though ANDY THE FRONT DESK MANAGER said we would not be charged ANDY stated "take a picture of the number on the front door and give it to Expedia and I will sign the waiver" So, I did. Once I saw my credit card was charged twice for a room we never stayed in because ANDY said "the people in your room at not leaving" we said "can we get another room" ANDY said "no, my cleaning staff never showed up for work so no rooms are cleaned" and he went and charged us twice for a room he knew we would not be able to stay in. LOCAL POLICE SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS PLACE - SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT AT THE ROSEMONT SUITES! Shame on Cheap Tickets and Expedia in helping these hotels rip off people of their hard-earned money. All ANDY has to do is behind a desk and NOT answer the phone and he earned $225.00. The place doesn't even deserve one star.

A Bait & Switch Hotel Scam

Disgusted by the cockroaches in the room!!! Checked in late, the room seemed clean until I saw the first cockroach on the wall !! Couldn’t go anywhere else at that time and could not sleep all night!! Worst stay ever in a hotel !! The only good thing was the kindness of the manager when I first came earlier in the day to make my reservation.

Been coming here for the last 5 years when visiting the casino and family. Was shocked to find out Lisa was no longer working here during our last visit...and it shows. Where to begin?...Yes, the building is old, outdated, and in need of TLC, but Lisa's hospitality definitely made up for it. She kept the rooms and building immaculate! Her customer service was above, above and beyond. If she knew it was your birthday she would decorate the room. If it was your anniversary she would leave you something special in your room. One time we were here for a funeral and she left the most beautiful card and flowers. She was the kindest, loving person who did what she could to make you feel at home. I mean in this day in age what hotel calls your room soon after check in to make sure you  were satisfied with your room. And we appreciated her no nonsense policy. Any disruptions were dealt with immediately. This visit was horrible. The rooms were not as clean and tidy as we're used to. The building was disgusting....bugs everywhere, cobwebs, trash overflowing...And the loud music, disruptive guests, slamming doors all night, and the bulding wreaked of pot. Not to mention the new staff can't speak english well, makig it impossible to express your dismay. Will be finding another go to hotel.
