There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this place is!! Cannot wait to go back!! The original cabin was built in 1810 and is still used today (Ask to stay in the Loom House for this one). It’s the oldest cabin in North Carolina where people can still spend the night. Inside the farm house itself, it’s exactly what you would want a farm house inn to look like. I fell in love instantly. We stayed in Nell’s Room. The bed was so comfy and their bathroom amenities… use their products, they smell so good! And the FOOD!! Y’all, it was better than any restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. My husband even voluntarily ate spinach 🤣 They worked around my food allergy without hesitation. Chef Cody is amazing!! The barn on the property was turned into an outdoor family area where you can sit and enjoy the pretty country/mountain scenery with an on-site var service. They have board games or you can bring your own. Also, on the weekends they have live music. There’s even horses and goats for you to pet. And, nighttime front porch sitting while watching the lightning bugs come out and the nearby neighbor shot off their leftover fireworks over the barn. It was beautiful 🥰 If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, this would be my recommendation. But, plan it in advance because they stay fully booked
