Our first year we met and made friends at Sandy Shore .Now here we are 7 years later vacationing together still there children and my grandkids have become friends. Fills my ❤️Life time memories .At the Shore. Very clean .Close to boards quite 


Restful happy place

 friendly staff, great location Pool and parking on sight. Boardwalk and beach a couple blocks away. Pacific avenue a couple blocks away  is loaded with shops, bars and restaurants. Everything you need is with in walking distance.  Great pricing you can’t ask for much more in a hotel down the shore!

Dirty, old almost changed hotels - needs updating - spend a little more for a better place, the pictures are sooo misleading. Resort should not be used in their title. Bathroom was so disgusting I almost took a shower elsewhere

Resort is a CHEAP word

We have been going to Sandy Shores for years. This time, I was pleasantly surprised! It looks like the shower was brand new. And it was a wonderful shower. Plenty of hot water. The beds were new (I think). Very comfy! The owner is always a gentleman. So nice and always accommodating. Close to the boardwalk. We will continue to stay here! 

Always a good experience

I'm sorry to have to give this review but Definitely not worth the price we paid, if you're desperate for a place to stay and this is all you can find last minute be sure to bring enough fly tape for the bugs that are in the room and you're favorite scented candle for the bad odor in the room found on arrival.

This was The worst room that we ever stayed in 😕

Always have a  nice time.  The room was clean and bathroom remodeled. The atmosphere was fun.  Upon arrival air was not working and there was  a quick cord fix.  Parking gets tight but always lets me park on pavement of property.  Im never without a spot. Location of hotel is perfect. 

Good spot in north wildwood

We came down for the weekend and the room was nice and clean with a nice floor and clean white sheets. Comfortable bed, shampoos : soap , bag of clean towels microwave and small fridge.  Two blocks from the beach and boardwalk and right across the street from a decent breakfast place. The beach is also very accessible with a little walkway  and not that large expanse of a beach like Wildwood is known for. We’ll be back

Sandy Shores Resort ⛵

inted on our stay. It was actually one of the worst hotels iv ever stayed at. After talking to the man setting up reservation, he assured me the rooms were renovated. They were absolutely NOT renovated. We walked into our room and there were fruit flies everywhere!!!! 

Walked into bathroom to find garbage all on the side of sink. The bathtub water didn’t drain, the water actually sits in drain and never completely drains, which is why there are probably bugs. Just sitting water. The shower knobs we’re so hard to turn I couldn’t shower without my husband in the room to turn them off. I actually had to leave the water running for a little bit once because I couldn’t turn it off!! 

The table in the room was so wobbly. I thought it was going to come crashing down which I am sure it will on the next guests.. couldn’t even put my computer on it, nor did we even use the kitchenette because it was so disgusting!! Felt there would be more bugs if we even thought to have food in this room. 

My pillow was stained or something. I don’t even know what. The blinds had what should be curtains also hanging but they were missing, so all night light shines through. The room never got dark. 

The garbage cans were right outside our room. So every morning at 5 am we were woken up by seagulls scavenging through the trash. Trash everywhere. It was disgusting. 

The pool was eh. I felt that because the room was so gross the pool probably was also. 

The tv wouldn’t stay on, and kept turning on and off all throughout the night. Not sure what that was about. 

People smoking cigarettes right outside our room all through out the night. Which came right into the room under door or through air conditioning. This was probably the worst of them all for me. 

The one lamp didn’t work. The switch on the wall didn’t work for either lamps in the room. The outlet also was so very loose that my chargers all kept falling out of the outlets at night. Woke up to uncharged iPads and phones . Like what the hell!!! So annoyed, never again will we stay here or recommend. 

And I wanted to love it, because the owner was so nice to me on the phone. But I’m sorry. I felt blind sided big time.

We only stayed at Sandy Shores for 1 night but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

I really don’t understand all the bad reviews for this place. Our room was clean, well maintained, & updated. Actually I was surprised to walk in & find such a nice room! The bathroom? Well, the bathroom was still living in the 1950’s, but it was clean.

Pool area was beautiful, lots of terrific outdoor seating, right near the boards, reasonable rates, plenty of parking. 
What’s not to like?
