Very good option for families.  The pool is well maintained and with the diving board and slide kids are happy to play all day.  The beach and boardwalk are very close.  For groups of 4-5, I do wish the little breakfast table was bigger and seated everyone.  Since guests are responsible to wash dishes, you may find varying degrees of cleanliness there.  We had to re-wash everything we wanted to use.  Still, we were happy with this choice and would return.

Impressive pool. Seems newly refinished. It had night lighting, large slide, and neat little seats carved out of the sides to sit. 

Rooms were clean. Air condition was appropriate.

Beds were extremely firm. I prefer memory foam so I had a tough time with the firmness. It would be the only reason I wouldn’t book in the future.

Location was surprisingly nice. Quiet area. Nice beach access across the street. Public Bathrooms/Park/Beach also right across the street.

We drove to the boardwalk because we have kids.

Firm beds but feels like a hidden gem among hotels

A++ to the owner, family and staff.
A++ also for all the amenities.
This place is super clean.
The pool with the slide is great fun for all.
And the colorful pool at night is very relaxing.
The room is great and convenient.
The sun deck offers a great view and again very relaxing.
A very calm, and clean resort.

Amazing stay

Clean, updated, the pool was heated, warm & nice. The room was clean, well maintained & really no complaints there. The bathtub was slow draining.  If that's my only, petty - looking for something gripe, I call that a win! 

The location is also good. There's basketball courts, bike rentals & a playground across the street. There's also an Italian restaurant directly across from us. 

I'd definitely stay again!

Very Nice Place

Very nice place!   Family oriented. Very clean, has a pool and is one block from beach! It is Only a few blocks to boardwalk entrance. Highly recommended! Easy check in and out. Also onsite parking. Plenty to do around you. Everything within walking distance.

Great place!

Great hotel with even better owners.  Clean  and just make you feel welcome.  If you want a very clean and up to date hotel this is the place.  Gem of the Crest.  If you are looking for a family friendly hotel this is the place for you.

Always a great trip

I agree with another prior review on this site.  Definitely the George Orwell Novel 1984. If this maniac sees something on the security cameras he doesn't like. He is on you in a second.  Even though his perspective is different though a camera.  My son was just pushing off the slide using his arms and this lunatic is saying he can't jump off the slide. Also said sliding head first is diving and diving is not allowed even though there is a diving board 3 feet away from the slide. This is probably the slowest slide in the world, your 80 year old grandmother can handle it.This guy is  Absolutely a killjoy.  Do not stay here. Once this manic sets you in his sights your done. If you leave your towels on a chair you can't leave. Apparently that's not allowed.  So if you can go to the bathroom you are out of luck.  So you might as well go in the pool, by this guy's logic. To much money to be told fun is not allowed. Better off staying home where you can do as you please. I can not stress enough, DO NOT STAY HERE.

Had the best time at park lane resorts. The pool is huge. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are super clean and spacious. I have found my regular spot for when i travel to wildwood crest. Thanks again!

Great staff. Very clean. Top notch layout

We chose the Park Lane resort for our recent,last minute trip to Wildwood Crest, NJ based off other reviews.  To say we were impressed is an understatement.  Jim, the owner, was very attentive and great to deal with. We extended our stay by 2 nights, which he was more than happy to accommodate.  The place is spotless. Rooms are small, which is typical of the Jersey shore, but very comfortable. The location is perfect. The pool area was also spotless and fun. One thing that would be a great addition would be some umbrellas around tge pool/upper sundeck area.  There are two cabana type areas, but are hard to get. We are so happy we took a chance and tried this place.  We look forward to returning many times. Thank you, Jim and staff, for taking pride in your work and having a great place!

wonderful place

Reservations were easily made with Jim, the owner, over the phone. We chose the first floor King suite which had a king size bed, two twin beds set up as a couch in the living room, a kitchen with granite countertops, full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove top, toaster and Keurig machine.  Dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, etc. were provided. Also, dishwashing detergent, scrub pad, and dish towel.  A microwave was set up on top of the refrigerator. Everything in the room was immaculate.  Plenty of towels. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. All rooms face the ocean. The pool is huge. It was very clean including the pool area.  When using a lounge chair you must use a towel, is the rule. No radios outside, which was great. No rowdiness, no loud music, no shenanigans! Pool closes at 7 p.m. Not once did we have any problems with any neighbors. Never heard a loud tv. The clientele was very respectful. Parking was right by our room which made it easy to load and unload. No coolers in room nor beach chairs, etc. Keep them in your car. Good idea.  Our air conditioner was in the bedroom and was a newer efficient model. It worked great. We actually turned it off a few times. No problem with the air getting to the front room. Bed was firm and great to sleep on. A little short on outlets so be prepared. One bedside table in our bedroom.  Our firestick worked perfectly with our tvs. We had one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Walk to the beach was short. Go across the street and down about 30 yards. We had a very nice breakfast across the street at the Pan Am Hotel in their restaurant. They serve BF, lunch and dinner. All rooms were non-smoking and no one was smoking near the rooms. 
Jim was very helpful during our stay.  He was VERY nice so I do not understand anyone who would say otherwise.  His wife Elena checked us out and she was a sweetheart, too. 
I am a property manager of two apartment complexes in our area in Bucks County, PA. My complexes are #1 so I am very particular. I would definitely go back! I highly recommend Park Lane Resort. I very much appreciate the owners and how they maintain the property. I love that they enforce the rules!
