A quaint and very relaxing place to stay in Lake Geneva.  We especially liked that it is located in a very quiet area away from the traffic in Lake Geneva, but close to all the major sites including the historic Yerkes Observatory.  The room clean and comfortable and had a large soaking tub and a gas fireplace.  There were an extensive and well maintained gardens with a gazebo and covered tables.  We would recommend Lazy Cloud B&B as the perfect place for a getaway

The perfect place for a quiet getaway in Lake Geneva

We not only stayed in this lovely Bed and Breakfast, but we held our small wedding here (at the B&B in Fontana, not the Lodge). They have a variety of sensibly-priced, small wedding packages to chose from and every detail of our wedding was perfect. From the flowers, to the cake, to the food... everything was wonderful and they took care of it all. It was as if we had our wedding in the home of dear friends.  And breakfast the following morning did not disappoint! A solid, homemade breakfast with hot and cold items exceeded our expectations. We will be back to celebrate our anniversaries in years to come.

Our Room (the Log Cabin) was large and comfortable. The recently remodeled bathroom was lovely and we enjoyed the fireplace very much. We didn't get to use the jetted tub, but maybe next time! We also figure we'll try out other rooms as they are all different and charming in their own ways. (We toured them all when we were selecting the room for our Honeymoon.)

Romantic venue for a small wedding (or getaway)

We would stay here again for sure! Staff was supper friendly, room was clean, the grounds were very nice, and breakfast was delicious! This is our third timing using a B&B the first two times we were served breakfast at Lazy Cloud you serve yourself buffet style! Our room was a beach theme, recently remodeled except for the bathroom! It was hard to wash your face with the cabinet above the sink, and wish there was light where the microwave and coffee machine were. So not much to complain about just stupid little things!

Annual anniversary staycation!

We absolutely loved Lazy Cloud B&B in Fontana. With not many options to celebrate our 25th Anniversary due to covid19 this was perfect. We stayed in log cabin suite and everything was great!The only thing we recommend would be larger robes for us not so tiny people. We will be back❤

Romantic Getaway

Beautiful, relaxing and quiet are some of the words to describe Lazy Cloud B&B. A short stay is more benifical than you expect. 
The new owners have kept all the magic and splendor of the grounds and structures while lovingly restoring the property.  
We will return.

Best place to stay to decompress and reconnect

This may sound strange but it is all true...we were in IL for 4 days over Memorial Day weekend for a  memorial service.  My husband had literally not had a day off all year so far.  We were staying in Northern IL and just needed a one night getaway from us from family stuff and stress etc.  We stayed on the Friday night and had to leave right at 10 AM the next AM for family matters but we are soooo glad we stayed that night...it felt like we had a 4 day weekend at Lazy Cloud and not just 18 hours... I will not go into more detail but the Beachcomber room is exactly what we needed on Fri 5/24. It is now a part of our history! Stay here, you will not be disappointed!!! Cheers!

A Perfect Romantic Getaway!

My husband and I discovered this place about a year ago, since then we have stayed here 6 times at both locations. We try to get away every other month if we can. It's a nice escape from our everyday lives even if it's just for the evening but the alone time greatly helps our relationship. We have never been disappointed at either location although we normally opt to go out for breakfast and forego the buffet at the fontana location and we take home the breakfast from the lake geneva location. The breakfast is ok it's just not what we would like so we choose to go out. The rooms are very clean and comfy. They have been doing upgrades/improvements since we first visited and it was much needed. It may only be new bedding, paint, carpeting, etc but some of the rooms needed a facelift.
We have stayed at the Hayloft, Paul Newman and Bradner/Shoreline at Fontana and the Blue Moon, Stone Grotto and Rendevous(our fave so far)at Lake Geneva. We are trying to work our way through the suites we are interested in staying in. We do prefer the Lake Geneva location where they have 4 suites grouped together away from the other rooms, it feels very private and secluded.
They also have a nice program where if you stay 5 times your 6th stay is free. Thank you Lazy Cloud, so we glad we stumbled upon you from a facebook ad!

We keep coming back

If you can't afford a honeymoon this place is pretty special for a weekend getaway.
We arrived late on a Friday and the office people were very accommodating even though it was at the end of their shift. Bottle of wine provided and chocolate covered strawberries were so yummy.
We settled in for the weekend in the Brandner Suite I think it was called and it was newly renovated.  Very pretty and serene.  
The next day the breakfast provided was awesome.  Wide variety of options and my husband is a diabetic so having sugar free syrup was pretty accommodating.
The grounds are gorgeous and it is set for couples literally to relax and enjoy each others company. 
This place is meant for intimacy, connecting and simply enjoy your other half.  I enjoyed no tv is our room and the games provided.  The books with entries of people's stay were pretty special and I enjoyed reading everyone's stories.  
It is a place to get away from everyday worries and just simply enjoy each other.  Something alot of people lose with everyday stresses, kids and careers.

What a special place

We stayed at the Lazy Cloud B&B in Fontana, celebrating my husband's Birthday. 
The grounds were beautiful.  We stayed in the Gazebo Suite.   It was so nice to be able to take a short walk just outside of the room to get breakfast and bring it back to our suite.  The only thing we recommend would be to ask about the bathroom size prior to booking your stay (for us not so tiny people).  My husband could not use the shower because of the teeny tiny bathroom and we were dissapointed.  We really expected everything to be perfect considering the outlay and the competition.  Not having ever stayed with Lazy Cloud in the past, we had no way of knowing that in advance of making the reservation.  Lesson learned!  In addition, none of the employees or other guests were wearing masks, but we are from Illinois and things are much stricter in our state than in Wisconsin.  Other than that, everything was great!

Quiet, Cozy and Quaint getaway!

Our first time in southern Wisconsin - Lazy Cloud was a wonderful experience.   Rooms decorated in rustic woods motif and very friendly staff.   The breakfast was good but more like something you would find at any chain hotel.   Will definitely return here when we are in this part of the country again.
