I had the most delightful experience at Hotel-restaurant Pano Marko. What makes this restaurant special is its genuine family vibe, which is a breath of fresh air amidst the sea of impersonal hotel chains around it.
As a family business, Restaurant Pano Marko is deeply rooted to the history and heritage of Dhermi, allowing you to feel a true connection with the place.
Each dish is prepared with care and with fresh local vegetables.

A cute family business, an oasis

Pano Marko exceeded our expectations for a budget hostel. The rooms were basic but had AC, were cleaned regularly and  are 10m away from a quiet beach. 

But what made our stay extra special was the staff! The staff were beyond accommodating - Super friendly, helpful and never failed to brighten up our moods when we were suffering during the mornings of Kala Festival (they once treated us to some fresh watermelon after overhearing us moaning to each other about how much we would love some fruit)! The only slight negative was the lack hot water for our showers, although after being all day under the hot Albanian sun, the cold shower didn’t bother me. 

Can’t wait to come again next year!

A budget hostel that made our time in Albanian

Loved this place, accommodation is basic but functional and the guys who run it are all sound guys (especially George who owns the place and knew a surprising amount about football when questioned). Would definitely like to stay again when we come back for Kala next year!

Great staff who made Kala extra special

The rooms are very basic but clean and have everything you need. The apartments are on the beachfront and a only a short walk into the main town. The staff and owner are really friendly and made us feel so welcome. They serve a daily menu of local dishes which are good value for money. Would strongly recommend staying here. 

Friendly staff and great locakon

This place is not a luxury hotel. This is a place for people who want to enjoy the beach and have a place to rest their head at night without spend a bunch of money. All of the staff was very friendly. Rooms were very cheap and the beach front is beautiful. We had a few bugs in the place but it was nothing serious. There was not a curtain in the bathroom for the shower. Just and open space. Close is a secluded beach that most people don't go to. Over all I would come back here for a couple of nights again.
