I debated between 3 & 4 stars for this one.  Ultimately, I don't mind dated properties if they're "well-loved," but this isn't a high-end or "boutique" place for those who do mind.  This is an ok hotel, but was the least nice of our tour.  The location, right on the beach, can't be beat and my bed was comfortable with good A/C.  The WiFi seemed good as well, plus the new elevator is a bonus!  It's more small details that could use some work for the extra * - my bathroom had a very high window left open, so I had mosquitoes that came in at night (plus, could hear all the boardwalk noise); the staff put others in our group in the wrong room type from what they agreed with the tour, so last minute shuffling took place; no coffee was ready at breakfast time; it was the only hotel we used in the country that didn't provide water; there was nothing around the shower, so the whole bathroom got wet.  So, nothing major, but just an accumulation of little things that weren't quite "perfect."

Dated and a Few Things to Improve

I was so happy to have found a room in this hotel. It is very central and Himara is a wonderful place for holidays. However, keep in mind that there is not parking in the building but somewhere in the city, which was not easy to find. I had a bad experience also because the room I was allocated which was the only room available was not ready until 21.00 (9 pm). We arrived late in the evening and when the owner took us to show the room, she herself was surprised that the room was not ready. The sheets were in the floor, papers and other waste around etc. It was very bad, because it was evening, and it was very late to find another place in Himara, let alone the very busy period in August. The owner did not even provide the option of having it cleaned- she said that there were no cleaning ladies in the hotel in the evening, so, there wsa not possibility to have it ready.

BEST place in Town and really friendly owners! Location and rooms are great. They try to help you with everything and rooms are really big and clean. Parking around the hotel is for free and there is really easy excess!

BEST hotel in Himare!

Only open 4 months of the year. A little run down but great views from our balcony and perfect location along the seafront. Would recommend as covers all basic needs and is convenient, clean and friendly.

Fantastic location and views, friendly service, clean and comfortable, great breakfast.  Rooms at the front have balconies with wonderful sea views.  Private beach right in front of the hotel with loungers and parasols.  Sea is beautiful, calm clear and warm.  Perfect place to stay.
