Fantastic accommodation for the price, all moden and newly installed bathrooms and bedroom furniture. The views of the mountains from my bedroom door were spectacular. The hotel is managed by a lovely family, the hotel manager is very helpful and knowledgeable about albaina and the surrounding areas. He is also a taxi driver so will take you anywhere for a good price. The only thing missing is a swimming pool but if you can overlook that I would highly recommend staying here.

Festival Holiday

I was there in 4 bed room, which was not so big, but it was cozy and it was clean. Shower was new, water was there, air conditioning was working, breakfasts was cool as well. So what else do u need?
Owner? if u asked him for anything, he will try to help you if it is in his power. Or he will give u advice where u can get what u want 
In middle is cool mulberry tree whit great fruits u can try.
I hope he can make it soon and he will build a swimming pool there so it will be more than paradise with the awesome views from the roof

Excellent hotel.We enjoy it.Very clean room the staff also prepaired and calm.We visit drymades beach the ocean is perfect for summer time.I reccomend this place.We enjoy our morning coffee as well.The room has everything we ned for our stay.Beutiful garden and parking space.Wifi also is very fast.

I booked a quadruple room for two nights. On the first night it was just me and a friend and the rest of the crew would join us the following day. Initially we were four people, but in the last minute I learned that another person was joining us.

I went to the reception desk on the first night, explained our situation and politely asked if it was possible to get a portable bed for the extra person that was coming tomorrow.

"The room can fit four people, not five" - was the short answer I received, even though the room was big enough.

We were willing to pay an extra fee if necessary. We were only two people for the first night and yet paid for four without questioning it. We simply weren't given the option to propose such "deal" as the answer was a straight NO.

No biggie. We found a tent for our friend at the camping site a few minutes from the hotel. It was just one night.

The following day the rest of the crew came and after the beach we (5 people) went to the hotel to shower and get ready to go out.

As soon as we parked our cars, the owner came to me pissed off and asked how many cars we had in the parking lot at that moment. We had three.

"Two cars need to leave the hotel right now! They can't be here. One parking spot per room. The extra person needs to leave the room right now!"

Without raising the voice or anything, we told him that we were simply going to take a shower, get ready and go out taking the extra cars with us. No need to make it a big deal.

"No. You need to leave right now or I am calling the cops!" - the owner kept yelling like we had committed a crime or anything. 

His parents joined too, causing a bigger scene.

"How dare you fill up our parking lot with your cars under our noses?" - the mother of the owner started shouting.

That was never our attention.

Because we were traveling from different parts (one from Athens, one from Saranda and the rest from Tirana but at different days), we couldn't travel with just one car.

Even though in the amenities it wasn't specified that you get only one parking spot, I completely understood their concern. With limited parking spots they had to make sure that the rest of the clients did have where to park.

But you DON'T make a scene and most importantly you DON'T yell at your customers.

I'm a business owner myself and I feel ashamed to share the same title with them.

I know firsthand that the customer is not always right, but when he/she is not, you politely tell them. You DON'T yell at them especially when they're not yelling at you.

If I were them, I would've even made sure the extra person gets some accommodation. He was an extra potential returning customer and not a fugitive.

We would have all left right away if we could have found another hotel.

And that's how you lose 5 customers in 5 minutes.

Extremely rude!

Nice place to stay one night, we just stopped 1 night. They're small rooms with fridge and furniture but poor bathroom (shower is too basic and uncomfortable).
Breakfast is also simple but in general for 1 night is acceptable. 

Nothing special but comfortable

The stay at Yard Paradise is always a pleasure, I have done so many weekends during last year and the current summer. The rooms in this guest house are clean with all necessary items for a comfortable stay. The best part is the yard with amazing tree and flowers giving a nice view and shade. 

The service is very good, while the owner is always there to help with anything you need. Almost 15 minutes from the guest house is the amazing beach of Drymades, one of the rarest gems of Albanian Rivera. 

In the room price, the breakfast is included, which is so nice given the relatively cheap price for a room. Is definitely a place you are going to turn back!

Great vacation spot in amazing Drymades

We had an amazing stay at Yard Paradise. The owners were very friendly and responsive to all requests. The location is absolutely amazing being on a hill between the mountains on one side and the gorgeous beach on the other. We really enjoyed the breathtaking views and the sunset in the afternoons. Wifi, AC  and service was great. The place was also really clean. Breakfast was sufficient too and the owners prepared coffee and offered drinks throughout the day which made us feel very special and at home. I'm glad our original place was booked and we stumbled across this lovely boutique hotel. We had a wonderful experience and we will definitely return. Vangeliss went out of his way to direct us to restaurants and other hidden beaches in the area.

A gem in Drymades

This was a great little family hotel in Dhermi.  While the mom and dad did not speak much English, their son did and their hospitality was great.  Breakfast was simple, but good.  All in all, a decent stay for Dhermi.  In Albania, you kind of need to go with the flow. Very helpful, and a place to park the car too.  A 10 minute walk to a very nice beach.
