Clean room, clean smell. Friendly staff. We were offered free coffee and cake in the morning, which was delicious. Great sea view, nice to wake up with the sound of the waves. Private parking available. Low season in himare is very quiet, not a lot to do. Gelato place across the street was good for desert and drinks.

Beautiful stay at the beach

Nice b&b on quieter side of Himara. Small private beach was nice and quiet. (We hate the loud music that seems to be the norm on the beaches in south Albania. Too bad, such beatiful beaches that are packed with sun beds...)  Small and basic room but clean. Himara was more relaxed than Saranda and we enjoyed our stay. 

Nice place on the beach

We had a nice stay on the beach. The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and warm. The hotel has a private beach with shades and also a great terrace. We got our wine and hanged out in the terrace for a long time. Perfect sunset! Didn’t get the sea side room, instead got one facing the road. But it was alright nothing to complain. Very neat and clean rooms with working air con. 
 No free breakfast but there are plenty of option nearby. Right next door there is a cafe with decent breakfast option.

Nice hotel on the beach

Definitely a wonderful place! Very clean room with balcony to the sea. The hotel has a terrace and a private beach. The hosts are lovely, incredible breakfast. We look forward to returning to this fantastic place.

Nice People / Clean Hotel

The rooms are basic, but this is a good, clean hotel and the location is perfect. The couple who run it were friendly and nice to us. The seaside rooms, of course, are the best. There is a small private beach, too.

Waterfront Hotel

We stayed at Mare Bed and breakfast for one week in medio july. We had two rooms at first floor which means no seaview. I guess our impression would have been even better if we had a view. Apart from that we had a splendid week in Himare. The Beach was just outside our room. Beds were fine, restaurants short walk from Hotel. Refrigerator in ALL rooms. WiFi signal weak in one of the rooms but fine in the lobby. Friendly and serviceminded owners. The placement of the Hotel makes it a must. We chose not to have breakfast at the Hotel. Plenty of choises in the nearby. 

Excellent

The B&B is located on Potami beach. Its a quite short walk to the center. Although Google Maps doesn't know it you will reach it easily by following the coast towards Potami beach. It is held by a tough but nice old lady. She seems to do everything on herself from cleaning the rooms, making/serving breakfast, solving problems and holdig the reception. She is helpfull and advised us on busses without speaking much english. 
We called before arriving and where informed there was a double room available for 20 euros. When we arrived the room was gone and the only option left was to take the larger tripple room for 25 EUR. We were tired so we had to agree to this. 
Breakfast is nice and is an extra 5 euros/person. We had brekfast on the terrace with sea view which is certainly making it more enjoyble. We had orange juice (not fresh), coffee, milk, cereals, egg with sausage, cheese, tomato, cake and bread. 
The room itself was quite simple, nice and clean (except the remote of the AC which was dusty). The bathroom was a typically albanian one WITH a shower curtain. All rooms have a balcony (mountain or sea view) and are cleaned daily. A fridge is available in the room. Wifi was available but didnt reach our room(floor 2 of 3).
The main drawback here however was an endless and quite load busing noise in the room. The noise was not produced by the fridge. I think it came from the electric fusebox in our room (I don't know if its in each room though). For me this brings the room from a very good or excellent hotel to an average one.  Additionally there are construction works going on opposite the room which makes the place a little less peacefull.
Other good points are the direct access to the beach and the free touristic map showing hiking paths, monastries and beaches.
