We were offered a very small room in the attic which was uncomfortable but what was disturbing for us was that it had the same price of the standart rooms (not cheaper) which were somehow more decent.  The carpet was dirty. 
The only greet thing about this hotel was the location in the center. 
Breakfast was very poor and things were scarse. If you had breakfast after 9 am, half of the things eere finished. Also the people serving were kind.

We have stayed in the hotel from 4th till 11th of September. We booked Standard Pool View room. However, we were settled in the number with the view at the ledger (no soap, shampoo, glasses, kettle and TV was not working). In course of 3 days we were declined to change the room we have booked and paid. On the 4th day we moved to the appropriate room. transfer to the airport was paid and booked. However hotel staff declined to provide any information and was as lazy as hell. We found out needed info only through our travel operator, despite the fact it should be provided at the reception. Provided services did not correspond to 4 stars. 2 stars max.  The hotel staff should be fired as professionally unfit. There was also fungus on the walls in the rooms. We do not recommend this hotel as services frustrated us. 

VILA DURAKU 4+ review

The hotel is Nice, but staff are very bad at english, internet does not work on other Then The first floor, aircondition works half of The time, and breakfast is boring and missing some selection, and there is alot of loud Music outside

Lovely hotel. Very modern. Staff are really friendly and very professional. Breakfast was more than great, had lots of choice. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and extremely clean and comfortable. GREAT LOCATION. Highly recommended.

Excellent

We stayed, in my opinion, pricey (Albanien measures), small 2-bed room, too small for 2 persons with luggage, that didn’t have a balcony. 

The staff is quiet and and doesn’t really interact with the guests - no smiles or hellos. We got the room from booking and I definitely recommend everyone to pay from the website as the hotel doesn’t accept card payments. The breakfast was mediocre, one of friends even got a moldy yogurt twice.

The hotel is well located in the city close to beaches and restaurants and there is potential on this hotel as it is a big beautiful hotel on the outside and the public areas. But for now it’s second-rate and I hade a much better stay at a different hotel close to this, with better rooms and cheaper price. 

Not convinced, but it has potential (?)

Definitely the best place in town. 
Perfect location- at the most strategic place, at the Main Street, near the sea with perfect view,
very clean rooms- clean sheets and towels every day, 
very friendly and educated staff 
also so tasted breakfast, you should definitely try it (the restaurant wasn't opened yet but I am sure that it will be very good👍👍👍 

The best place in town

I have spend the time last month at this hotel, everything was excellent with staff , delicious breakfast, comfortable  rooms. Very polite and qualified staff. I recommend to everyone! Do not lost the opportunity to visit this hotel!

In Saranda we lived in a very nice room at Vila Duraku, number 203. The room was not that big, smaller than most rooms in the hotel, but it had a large balcony overlooking the sea and the city.
If you want to stay in this hotel you should choose a room with a balcony facing the sea. The others did not have such a nice view. One should avoid the rooms on the top floor as they had sloping ceilings, small balconies and were quite dark.
The hotel looks like a large manor house and is very centrally located in Saranda. It is only about 150 meters to the beautiful beach.
The breakfast was really nice. We also ate lunch at the pool a couple of times. They served the best Country Salad throughout Saranda.
The pool area was fine.
The staffs were friendly and accommodating. What dropped the rating was that the staffs were so bad in English.
