Its well located, the food is marvellous, couldnt ask for more, nice and anjoyable view, the staff very was very nice ans simpathic. The driver was at the airport on time, the car was big ans with a nice smell.

I fully Recomend that.

Nice, Well Located, Good View and Marvellous food

While it's understandable that Luanda is suffering an economic cricis, but Kwanza 40k a night for a room which has broken lights, rickety bed, dead TV and above all, never even a kettle to help you make coffee, that's what you call. Rip off. Within the city there are hotels for business travellers which charge far less for far better facilities. The morning breakfasts are a shame with only some coffee, stale bread and heated stew left for guests. The staff finds it extremely difficult to serve English speaking guests unlike other hotels who have grown up. If you are for a stay longer than a day, there are options nearby. The hotel looks on verge of closing down.

Not worth the money spent

Arrived at 23h. The receptionist was looking strange. He took our passeports , took a long time to make photocopies, then asked the again the passeports as he had lost the photocopies... he could hardly work... after 30 mn to see him searching for papers and id of his computer, we decided to leave the hotel.

Receptionist was drunk I never had the keys

Reduced to a trade union minimum, otherwise clean, and correct, breakfast to be reviewed, restaurant map to be improved, not imposing on the customer what to take, otherwise why come with a map and a sheet of what's available... free of charge, surprise at the addition?

A little expensive for a minimalist hotel.

It's conveniently located 15 minutes from the airport, and not far from downtown Luanda. Very small but decent individual rooms. Wifi works well, although not in all rooms. Breakfast on the top floor is very complete.

Hotel acceptable

The hotel is located in a central area close to the roman Carlise church segrada familiar. My room was tiny and had a terrible view of a shanty town outside. The staff are friendly and nice although at breakfast some had no clue and we're lazy with cold scramble egg being served. Wifi works in places when it wants. Food is ok. The hotel has no facilities except for the restaurant. Lifts break down. Nothing special but a bed to sleep in. At best a 2 star hotel at a push!

Boring expensive and small 

Hotel Loanda is strategically located at the heart of the city, just across the street from the catholic church - Sagrada Familia. Its both leisure and business type hotel, perhaps a 2 star on international standard. Rooms are clean, wifi are sporadic and limited, rm 308 had no hot water in the shower. Its a disappointment for international travellers.....no international tv news channels like bbc, cnn, euro news. (It took them 2 days to sort out the tv issue despite repeated reminders.) Room rates are expensive....$260 per night! As they always say, its expensive in Luanda.

Disappointed

The price for a single room was 330 dollars a night.In promotion, it was 264, including breakfast.It is located in front of the Church of the Sagrada Familia.The room is small, but everything works and is clean.The breakfast is plentiful and varied.
