This apartment style hotel is in a wonderful location and features two balconies. You can sleep right on top of the ocean. The owner and her son are always around. We had a few maintenance issues that were fixed immediately each time. A car is recommended if you do not mind driving on left. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about where to go and there are a few restaurants you can walk to. The restaurant next door is fair at best and very over priced. They cater to their all inclusive guests, but at least you know a restaurant is close by. The owner has snacks and enough so you won't starve. Very welcoming and a good value, with added bonus of two fairly quiet, but very nice small beaches.

Excellent experience

Enjoyed our stay, esp the 2nd floor seaside veranda, view to the open ocean. Good value. Quiet neighborhood. Quality restaurant next door where we enjoyed several Italian-inspired meals. Easy ride from airport.  Construction on a new bar, reception and more currently in progress.

Recommend this hotel

Strongly recommended. Great location with stunning view and responsive host who were quick to respond to requests. They put us in contact with a very good car hire company, Pauline (+12687848776) who we had a very positive experience with.

Great location

Delightful well run apartment / hotel . Hosts did everything they could to make our stay in Antigua as relaxing as possible . Rooms are cleaned regularly and fresh towels supplied . The hotel next door has a very good restaurant which non residents can use . The beaches are quiet which is delightful for a relaxing sunbathe and swim . Please take lots of mosquito spray . You can use the workers buses to get about , a lot cheaper than a taxi . The buses are clearly marked with the word bus on the number plate . Bus 55 took you to St John’s . Just walk along the road until one appears and flag it down . 

Relaxing well managed apartment/ hotel 

We stayed for 10 nights in December and have just returned home. The hostess was most welcoming and very friendly. Full of good advice about the locality and the Island. 
The apartment was spacious and incredibly clean. The kitchenette was well equipped, basic but everything you needed was there.
The apartment was cleaned every day, apart from Sundays. Clean towels every day which was more than we expected. The apartment has 2 air-conditioning units, 1 in the kitchen / living area and 1 in the bedroom. Don't forget to turn them off when you go out to save on energy. The units are incredibly efficient and will cool the rooms in no time. So there is no need to leave them on :).
There are plenty of sockets, TV with a lot of channels and very good, far reaching WiFi.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.



Amazing Stay.

We stayed from Feb 15th to March 25th.We enjoyed it very much.Some of the ads said that there was a restaurant,there is no restaurant .There is at the all-inclusive next door.We loved the little beach and two balconies one facing East the other West both with water views.We went the self catering route as we had stove ,microwave and fullsized fridge.It is a little far from stores and restaurants except the all-inclusive next door .We walked to store and takeout at Jaberwocky Beach,about 30 minute walk one way and to restaurant about 20 minute walk in other direction.We even walked to store at roundabout approx 45 minute one way.We took bus to large grocery store  and to down town and a beach trip,sometimes took the very expensive taxi to tours and a beach for snorkeling.We did not rent a car it was too expensive for 1 month and we typically do not use a car everyday when we go away.Our little beach was good for a swim although water is not very deep.There was on some days fairly good snorkeling at our little beach. We used the VERY EXPENSIVE taxis for time sensitive trips,and the VERY ECONOMICAL bus for less time sensitive trips.Tiziana was an excellent host and the maitance man Manuel was very good as was the daily maid service.The flow through ventilation at night was excellent which meant we did not need to used the AC unit of which we had 2 , 1 in bedroom 1 in kitchen ,sitting room.We can recommend this hotel as very good ,but do your homework to know what is and is not readily available.If you are car rental people or taxi people I do not think you can do better for guilt enjoyment and you can even listen to the live entertainment for resort next thst is not overly loud.

A great place to stay on Antigua

I spent one night here last on a quick trip to Antigua, and o really enjoyed it. The owner is Italian and really nice and helpful. Room was quiet and right on the water so I could hear the surf at night. 

The area is somewhat isolated without a lot of restaurants around, but that may be ok depending on what you’re after. I ate at the sottovento restaurant at hotel next door and Dawn’s soleil cafe a ten minute walk away. Both were really good.

Easygoing stay on the water not too far from the airport.

My 2 daughters and I stayed for 11 days. The room was very large with a full size refrigerator. It also had a gas cook top. This was great since restaurants where not close.  We rented a car by day 3 to get around. Very close to the American University of Antigua which was nice since we were dropping off my other daughter for med school. The hotel is more of a 2 star for US standards. However the service was fantastic.  Would recommend to friends. A side note they have been working on repairing issues.

A nice stay at the Northshore Residence

Stayed three nights at this hotel and would recommend it. Mother and son welcome you warmly and ensure your stay is trouble free. Everything you request is granted with a smile and a 'no problem' attitude. Other family members are travelling this year and I have recommended they stay here. Delighted to leave this review.

Lovely little gem!

I have been on many travels all around the world and no experience could have matched the one I’ve had at Northshore Aparthotel - first of all thanks to Tiziana and Druso and the whole staff at the complex, made us feel at home and welcomed us into an extremely clean and comfortable apartment that opens to the seafront and offers amazing views from its two large balconies.
Our adventure wasn’t planned much ahead but the amazing Tiziana and Druso made sure i had enough tips and advices to get me around the island and we truly ended up having a great time!
Can’t recommend this place enough, conveniently located close to great beaches, kite surfing sites and even the airport for quick, hassle free, tranfers in and out the island!
I will definitely go back and visit Tiziana and Druso again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
