Surely someone has reviewed this place since 2018? Well, if not, here goes…

We booked a cabin (cabaña) on AirBnB and read between the lines that it was part of a mini low-key resort right on the banks of the Mendoza River.

Route 7 is a very long road, stretching from at least Mendoza to Chile, so we were worried about finding it. Google maps got us right to the entrance - set back on a dusty track after you’ve past the Potrerillos reservoir (if travelling from Mendoza).

Arriving on 03/04 we were definitely out of season and had the place pretty much to ourselves. The staff were still very attentive and we could have eaten in the restaurant (pizzas, steaks, salads) and swum in the pool (10.30-20.00). Prices were fine (8,500 pesos for a meal - £8.50).

The cabin (number 12) was a magnificent beast! Huge for 4 of us, and all wood so it smelled lovely and had interesting nooks and crannies everywhere. Two bathrooms! And we had a BBQ area, and three separate decks overlooking the river. It was beyond fabulous. 

Kitchen facilities were fine - the usual hot plates, counter-top even, kettle and toaster. Had a fridge too.

But the view. The river. The stars. 

I could live here. What more can I say?

First review since 2018?

Loved the cozy cabin and the beautiful nature around. Good for couples, families and also solo if you wish to relax by yourself. Breakfast could have more options, but the cabin has a complete kitchen where you can cook.
Will definitely try to come back there and stay longer next time!

Very cozy and relaxing place

We had called and asked for a cabana for two couples got there and one bed had no bedding at all. The toilet was leaking so bad that the floor was flooded !!! Maintenance very poor....next day we asked for things to be fixed other wise to be moved some where else. We left very early for a trip and upon our retur everything was just the same and they could not move us somewhere else. So we ask for a return of pay and left  to Mendoza !!!

Very desapointed !!!!!

Before we arrived we called to make sure that they have a restaurant and that it's open for dinner. We drove many hours that day and were looking forward to a nice dinner. We were told that they open at 9pm and that they have everything: meat, pasta. etc. 9pm is a bit late for the kids but we preferred that than driving more to a different restaurant. When it was 9m we got there with the kids and were told that there is one kind of pasta - that was filled with pork and cheese, one option of meet and one salad that was made of lettuce and tomatoes. We were very disappointing since that wasn't much to choose from- especially for kids.... when I spoke with the person in charge he said that since it was Sunday night there was not much left... and that new stuff is coming Monday. I am not sure that should be of my concern as a costumer. especially when I called ahead and was assured they have things. 
Also,  when we arrived the weather was extremely hot and we found out that there was no air conditioning or fans in the cabins. I thought it would cool off and night but it didn't. It was very difficult to sleep at night and there were many bugs and mosquitoes that  entered through the holes in the nets. Before we went to sleep we found out that one bed was missing sheets. It was so late at night and we did not want to walk all the way to the lobby so we got by somehow. We planned to stay there two nights but after the first night we cancelled the second night. We expected so much more since it is also kind of pricey.
No WiFi at the cabins. Very difficult to connect at the main area. Also, the Spa wasn't active.

Not at all what we expected

Great surrounding
Very nice block houses with lovely fireplaces, ideal for a romantic weekend or a complete relax.
The staff is very nice. 
The food is very traditional Argentinian, with lots of meat,  simple and good. 
The food service sometimes a bit slow, but who cares when you're on holiday.

Highly recommendable

This place is awesome, the cabanas, the surroundings, the views, you can really feel relax listening the river from your room as you wake up clock. The cabana 15 is great, space for 6 people, good heathers, all kitchen supplies and they clean your cabana everyday.  The only low light is the restaurant, even the food was good, they opened until 21:00, and takes a while to serve your food, we spent two hours in the place and decided to take the dessert to the room, next day we asked fit pizza to take away at 20:00 and also took a while to it. But removing the restaurant issue the place is AWESOME!!
