On our occasion it is our first time travelling to the Chalten and it was for one night since we arrived from Calafate. We had reservations, as opinions led us to decide on this place. The receptionists are all very kind and attentive to all the needs and advice about the place, such as where to eat lunch and what to do trekking. The very comfortable rooms with good heating, the very comfortable bed and good cleaning. There is no TV and wifi only in common areas not in the rooms. The breakfast is very well viewed, and the breakfast maker has a privileged view of the mountains and free parking. We are a family that travels and recommends something when we like and deserves a mention, so Viagemos Argentina recommends x.

The hotel is fine, breakfast is basic but sumptuous. The hotel's location is excellent. The cleanliness was fine. The staff was very friendly. They offer meats that you have to order the night before at $4500 (4,50usd). NO WIFI AND TELEVISIONS IN THE HABITACTIONS, no signal on the cell phones. The WiFi in common areas is pretty bad. When the days are good it's no problem, but if a storm hits everyone gathers in the dining room to connect and there are the crane cranes that go to games or programs for streaming and you don't need to connect or send. I recommend taking a book or series/movie download.

Excellent attention and willingness to solve any situation. I will surely return next year. A genuine mountain lodging. comfortable rooms, constant hygiene. for the evenings you can enjoy different teas for free.

Very nice hostel. Comfortable rooms and a top-notch bed. Located in a very good location (about half of the village, so everything is close by) and a spectacular view from the breakfast counter. There is no TV or wifi in the rooms, but it helped to disconnect a little from everything and enjoy the place. The receptionists are always attentive to the tips for meals, excursions and what we need, as well as those for cleaning. You can buy food outside and use the living room for dining (before buying a drink in the lobby).

Excellent location, very comfortable beds, excellent room cleanliness, hot water for the 10's bathroom!! 100% recommended, we had a beautiful family stay!! El Chalten is a dream place!!

In my opinion it is a step up from a hostel since each room has an ensuite bathroom. The room was pretty small but functional. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is no wifi in the room only in the common area and not much bandwidth. The wifi is where there is seating and tables for eating food. The breakfast was very simple and no real gluten free options. No yogurt or granola. The rooms were clean though. Would not recommend unless you are on a budget and are part of the 20-30 year old crowd which was the majority of the patrons. The showers worked well and water temperature stayed consistent.

Basic accommodations

Lovely attention, location and views. The super varied and complete breakfast and the very comfortable room. I love Paula, Nicolás, Edith, Lizeth and Macarena. They are all divine, proactive and very attentive. Obviously we will be back in the Chaltén and we will be back in the Fitz Roy Hostel 😍😘   🇪 🥰 ❤️
