For such price amenities are good.
Spacious room with a private bathroom, air cooling is working and a swimming pool but smaller than in the pictures
Breakfast is ok though there were a lot of insects walking on the plates

BUT we do NOT RECOMMEND this hostel because they often try to SCAM visitors.
You can check on booking and google comments too, it's a recurrent topic.
They have on-call receptionists. But they barely speak English.
We never saw the owners, they just gave orders through phone.
During the coronavirus crisis we have received confusing and false information from the owner, through the receptionist.
It created chaos and stress for all guests.
We had to call the border control office ourselves to have the right information (that the borders were closing).
We payed in cash at arrival but NO INVOICE was given to us.
Later we informed the reception early enough that we would not be there the last two nights due to coronavirus and requested a refund for these two nights.
Immediately after requesting this, hotel tried to CHARGE THE STAY TWICE. They not only did not refund the days we would not enjoy, but they tried to charge the whole stay again through my card. So BE CAREFUL with the payment !
After that the owners refused to talk to me on the phone and her receptionist ignored me completely, saying that he follows the orders of her boss and that I should speak to booking, not to them.
Then they cancelled my reservation on booking as if I had not been there, to avoid that I could claim their scam/
So we contacted Booking to manage the refund of the last two nights that we did not enjoy but after several communication attempts, the hotel ignored all messages from booking.
- Lots of insects in the rooms and in the breakfast plates
- No atmosphere at all
- Poor information about the tourists spots, we had to get all the info by ourselves.
Globally the services were poor.
We do NOT recommend this hostel because they just don't care about the guests and they try to SCAM people by charging people twice as much as they can !

This place is tops! Super clean, the best free breakfast I've had at a backpacker hostel, cosy private pod style dorms, great location, and Silvio and Andrea are incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts. To give an example, they lent me their scooter for the day (free of charge) when I was unable to rent one anywhere in town.. I really doubt there's another hostel in Iguazú that could top this place.

Superb hostel with amazing service

The staff were the best, like a family!
They waited for me at the door and opened the door for me.
Picked up my bags, checked me in quickly and offered me coffee, juice, cookies and water right away!
Met great people in the dorms.
The dorms were really good and private for each person!
Best hostel I stayed in so far!!

Amazing staff

Very helpful staff always available to answer questions and lend a hand. Location is close to  is station and the restaurant area. Place is clean with good breakfast included. Rooms have what you need.

Great Staff and Location

Hotel is very close to bus station. Breakfast is good for a day or two, but after that starts to lack variability. 

Staff was helpful with transport advise and what to visit. The guy working late shifts was super rude and not friendly at all. He also made passport copies of all guests and credit card (both sides), which is a huge risk for theft of private information. No hotel in Europe would do this. Staff was able to speak English, but written English was just terrible.

Uncomfortable rooms. Shower was broken. It was impossible to get the right temperature of water in the sink and shower. Bed was really uncomfortable. Room smells bad and lacks proper ventilation as the only window is to the corridor.

The pool is absolutely disgusting, full of sand and dirt.

Poor quality service, rude staff, old and uncomfortable rooms

I had a great stay at the 125 hotel. I booked online and put in a preference for a top bunk capsule which they kindly reserved for me. I arrived in the morning and they allowed an early check-in since a bed was available, which was much appreciated after a journey on a night bus. 

The room and bathrooms were cleaned very well daily. Shower was hot with good water pressure. The capsules had a privacy curtain, individual lamps and lockers. The pool looked great, and was cleaned during my time there. The free breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold foods. 

The owners and staff were all friendly and helpful. The lady owner was in particular very kind and hospitable, she let me know the information for the buses and reminded me to take my passport for the falls, offered fresh orange juice at breakfast and even did a complimentary load of laundry. They placed a fresh towel on my bed in the middle of my stay without asking which was very nice. They really take care of their guests, it was the best service I've experienced in a hostel. Definitely stay here if you're visiting Iguazu falls. 

They have a relaxed and friendly dog visitor too, it comes in during the day and sleeps at random places in the hotel. One day he's in the changing room, the next in the dormitory, or the sofa at the reception. It's quite funny.

Capsule hostel with the best service

By the time we were able to make reservations for this part of our trip, many properties were booked.  The 125 was still available and is a decent budget option.  Half of the hotel is a hostel with sleeping pods and the rest is hotel rooms but the whole thing has a bit of a hostel vibe.  The room was small but adequate.  The beds were firm but not bad.  There was not much storage space but a bit of space for hanging clothes.  The bathroom was long and thin and included soap, shampoo, and conditioner.  The shower was fine but the towels a bit thin.  One off putting thing was signs saying that there would be a charge of 700 pesos for staining towels or sheets.  Breakfast was fairly simple—olives, pickles, corn, tomatoes, cucumber, cake, toast, fresh squeezed orange juice.  The restaurant is currently closed.  We had a bit of difficulty with wi-fi at first but eventually had good service.  The location of the hotel is excellent with the bus station right up the street, as well as a grocery store and lots of eating places.  I would call this a decent budget option.  For the price it is a good value.

Decent Choice for Puerto Iguazu

This was a great little hotel. Location is perfect, very near to the bus station for visiting the falls or for long distance buses and near to great restaurants. We had a double room which was clean and of a good standard. What makes his hotel great are the owners though, very welcoming and kind. They gave us lots of information on arrival which was really helpful. The laundry service is great and they even allowed us to use the showers after we had checked out before our overnight bus which was really kind. Thank you for a lovely stay. 

Lovely little hotel 

Worst hostel that i ever came! I confirmed the arrive at the hostel for about 4:00 pm. We arrive at 4:18 and the owner was alredy canceled our reserve and not even care about it. The hostel was full, probabily she canceled to acomodate another guest. Very very bad staff!

Worst hostel of Puerto Iguazu

We were spending 2 nights here to view the Falls (which are spectacular!).  We wanted a clean room for a good price. Wow, we got so much more! Large modern room, comfortable bed, very clean, good breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice, outdoor pool with towels, and a perfect location for walking around to cafes, shops, and restaurants. The owner, Silvio and his lovely wife were very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating and spoke English very well.
