Alojarse en Mendoza is an older manor house hosted by very friendly and accommodating couple. The location is outstanding. It is on a side street 1 block from Av. San Martin, 2 blocks from Plaza Espana, and just 5 minutes for Plaza Independencia and the pedestrian street of Peatonal Sarmiento. There is a Carrefour Express supermarket just around the corner, many cafes and restaurants, ATMs are nearby. The breakfast had a variety of items; fresh fruit, orange juice, dulce de leche, croissants, grilled ham & cheese sandwich. All very tasty.
A few downsides, there is no in-room safe and room lighting is not very bright. Bathroom amenities such as shampoo and soap are not provided.
I was just there for 1 day and 2 nights and only used the room for sleeping so it was a good fit and step up from a bunk bed in a hostel. Alicia arranged for a car to the airport ($2,200) and I was able to leave my bags there until my taxi at 1 pm without any problems.


Quaint older B & B with a Great location; good value

Hugo and Alicia were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to take care of us. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. It is a big old house with large rooms and baths. Very clean. Great location. Enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Old House with Wonderful Hosts

Great, helpful owners Hugo and Alice who cared about us and our stay. They were generous with their time. Breakfest was very filling and vareity. Bed very comfortable, nice house, great location and safety area.

Great accomodation and owners

This was our most budget accommodation during our trip and we were not expecting a whole lot. These expectations were well and truly surpassed. It is true that the place is worn, and could do with some maintenance, but the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked and the showers decent. Everything was clean. The location was excellent and the wifi was probably the best we had on the trip. The stand out feature though was easily the hosts. They were delightful and made our stay in Mendoza. Communication was a little difficult, but they were very patient with our feeble efforts to speak Spanish. They were genuinely interested in us, which made us feel like part of the family. Highly recommend staying here.

Great place

The location of this B&B is very good, only about 10 minutes´ walk to the centre plaza. The B&B itself however can do with a bit of maintenance. The room was comfortable enough with working airconditioning, but wifi reception was a bit patchy at time.
Would recommend this to travellers who only care about location to the centre of town, and don´t mind the occasional stranger asking to your bathroom (not all the rooms are en-suite)

This B&B is well placed, only 10-15mins for the bus terminal and not more from the city center.
The room and bathroom was very clean! The room is large and the air conditioner, inside it, work fine and was very quiet. 
The breakfast is complete (bread, juice, coffe tea, etc..)
The staff is friendly and nce, but don't speak english very well, but we were able to get all information we needed.
The only negative point is the room isn't 100% sound proof. During the night, we eared the car and one people yelling from the street. But as it's a quiet street (i get awakened only 2 times during the night), it's not a big problem.

This lovely B&B sits in a side street, which turned out to be a great location - close enough to the center, close enough to the bus terminal and to bus stations to Maipu.

The room is comfort and cosy, the bathroom is a bit old (and not very attractive... That's the only thing to say against).

The best part is Hugo, the son of the family who runs this place.
He's just great - although not fluent in english, he's doing the best efforts to help - from giving recommendations, finding transportation routes, and giving us a hike to the terminal (because he thought the streets were dangerous before 7am...).
