Romàn, David y Rodriguo were very welcoming and nice ! We had such a great time in this hostel. It was safe and friendly. The activities organized were nice and SAYULITA is a dreamy destination! The food was great and so were the drinks . The private room comes with free breakfast and towels .

Never in my life I heard so uncovered abuse and discrimination! Have nothing bad to say ab a lady at reception but a man is indecent indeed! If you don't speak Spanish - stay away from this place if you don't want to be verbally abused. I payed for 2 nights when arrived there. There is a problem with keys, in the room door also but the worst in the main gate. It took me few min to deal with that but never I did it without help.  In that only evening there I came back and stayed at the gate for ab 5min trying to open the lock till the man (the owner I suppose) come to me and opened the lock. After spending more time to open my door lock, I was ab to have a shower but realized there was no a soap. So I went back to reception asking for that and also asked to wake me up next morning in case if my mobile alarm let me down. I order a day tour and the bus should come there next morning. I was advice to wait for the bus in reception. So I asked that man to wake me up 7.30. I can say in Spanish only few words so I wrote the time for him. Another way of communication was the ap on my phone "Conversation translator" but it only can be used with internet. Wi Fi was very weak there and practically I was not able to use it. I tried my hard to speak Spanish and as he also knew few words in English, conversation was possible. 
 Next morning 6.55 he woke me up knocking at the door. I was not very happy to wake up before but did not have attencion to complain. Luckily Wi Fi worked that morning  and I tried to speak with him. I thought maybe something wrong with my clock.  I only asked: "Why did you wake me up 35 min early?" His reaction was unbelievable! He was behaving like a mad man! Shouting to me something in Spanish, putting this peace of paper with time towards my face! I tried to understand maybe really my clock was wrong. But I saw his clock, time was correct. He did wake me up 35 min before I asked and what was stated in the peace of paper which he is very rude wave to my face! I can not describe it! I was really in shock! He run in circulars in his garden shouting on me saying: "Good-bye".  It was only one night I spent there while payed for two.  So I tried to talk to him asking what he mean? But like a nut-case he sh-sh-sh on me making me to get silent waving his hands toward the rooms gesturing me that his guests (Spanish speaking!) are sleeping while himself continue to shout on me! But look like he understood what I am saying, he got money out of his pocket and nearly push me toward my room with yelling: "Out! Out! Out my hostel! Now!! Get your things and out! Out! Out!" Believe me, I am not exaggerating!  It was so scary that I could not even cry, I just was shocked and scared! One interesting detail: he also straggled to open my door after grabbing the keys from my hand as I was unable to open the door. Very quickly i took my things and put them in my case... he was nearly physical harring me out of the gate nearly throwing money for 1 night on my face!   His last  words for me I understood  before he slammed the door behind me were: "Never come back! This hostel for Spanish only, not English!"
  What was next? Good thing that my bus was a bit late so I did not miss it. With tease on my eyes I told all that to whole bus.... I really did not know what to do. Shock gone, were left just tease.... Our English speaking guide was very good. Coming me down she advised me to relax, have my tour but after go to tourist office to look for another accommodation and made complain. Which I did. 
  I still needed to come back as being under abusive pressure, left few things there. But only after tourist office worker called them. I was very scared to see him again! But he was there, sitting like nothing happen while the lady took me to collect my forgotten things. 
 So here is my unfortunate experience in this place! Keep away from them!

Stay away from them!

I was accused twice by the owner of not having paid my bill.  The staff was so disorganized that they can’t even keep track of who paid.  Luckily I asked for a receipt after I paid.  But even with the receipt, the owner was still confused and at one point told me I’d need to leave immediately.  I remained calm and had to talk her through her confusion.  My friend wasn’t so lucky.  She had no receipt, and had to pay twice for one night.
The rooms are basic and a bit rundown.  The carpeting in the room is ratty, stained, and soiled.  The toilet seat was broken.  Every day the cleaning crew left a mop in my shower.  The curtains are far to thin, allowing lots of light and peering eyes into your room.
Breakfast is included, but was the worst breakfast ever.  I was served stale bread with some butter and marmalade.  Prisoners are fed better.  The dining area was somewhat dirty.  The internet connection was unreliable and kept cutting out.  The rooms are laid out in all together in a line, like a motel.  People pass by your room to get to their room, and things can get quite noisy, because people are inconsiderate.   I had one woman loitering outside my room smoking a cigarette and gabbing on her cell phone.
Lodging is in short supply in Puerto Madryn in high season.  If you can avoid staying in the viajeros, you should do that.

Disorganized, rooms need refurbishing

We had booked this hostel for 3 nights but left here after 1 night. The smell on the room was horrible, the room was everything but clean. Especially the carpet was not cleaned for 100 years. We were extremely happy to leave this place after 1 night. Also staff was not friendly which might be logical when you tell them you are leaving after 1 night having reserved for 3. Also the hostel is out of the centre and walking back from the centre at night did not feel really comfortable.

I would recommend this hostel to nobody!
