If you are a lover of passive holiday where you can admire the beauty of nature and the sound of silence, this is the right place to have your holiday. The rooms are very comfortable and warm for this season. Our room was in the hotel but there were also cottages. The service and the food was very good. I recommend this place.

This is a very interesting hotel with its own market garden around it. We had good food in the restaurant for lunch, dinner and breakfast. The hotel has its own generator which cut in when the power went out in the evening. Most things worked but WiFi coverage patchy and slow.

Very nice hotel with a very nice design. I was really surprised to find this hotel in the mountains. There are cottages and rooms in the hotel, rooms are good as well, if they have balconies. We stayed here for 3 nights... Staff was quite friendly, though sometimes they don't know what is a customer service, for example they can yell, argue with each other forgetting that they have guests... The HUGE disadvantage is that they don't have a WiFi in the rooms. When I called to book, they said they had it everywhere... But as we settled, we found out, that there is no WiFi.. the girl administrator told, we are the only guests who had complained.. In the evening it turned out nobody had internet in the rooms, so we were sitting in a lobby with the phoned and note books. The second terrible thing was the dinner of the first day (one burnt chicken wing and some terrible porridge, later they had better dinners, but all meat dishes were terrible. I would advice to take only a breakfast here. 
So, 1. confirm  if they have WiFi . 2. Take only a breakfast, if you have a car here, you better drive to a near restaurant.
Despite all the shortcomings, I love this place and would visit it again.

Staff were friendly with smile on their faces all the time, since the hotel were in nature it could have been nets on the windows to avoid the mosqitous coming inside the rooms, but all over we enjoyed our stay and i can recommend it to those who love being in peacefull nature

Amazing nature cozy design!

Beautiful complex in amazing nature

The hotel "Villarest" in Dilijan is located among the forests and is a modern building with all necessary facilities. The guys /waiters/ were very welcoming, ready to help and fed up with the senior poor management. But positive part can be limited only with this. 
The receptionist and the manager /both women/are far from being professionals and carry on everything except for their own responsibilities: like making compliments to each other, coffee drinking, ignoring guests any requests, mixing the rooms and which room should have additional bed according to the payments, waling in the hotel barefooted. The lamps were out of order /even after being informed weren't changed/, no room service at all /the guest should go, ask, send the staff an "invitation" in order to have clean towels and room after askng and calling at least twice/. No fixed swimming-pool and the moble one is dirty/even if the water is changed it takes about 4 days/. 
Really, if the owner of this hotel takes care of his financial means please recruit experienced and skilled staff /at least having moral, ethicfeatures not to ignore guests and walk barefooted/.
