Our itinerary in Armenia was changed to avoid the troubled areas. We weren't supposed to be staying in Gyumri so this came as a surprise. It's like walking into a Disneyland Hotel, totally over the top decoration but it works fine.

The rooms follow a similar decorated pattern, the facilities are good. We had our dinner at the hotel which was good, the breakfast fine too. 

It's fairly central - opposite one of the main squares and near to the two pedestion shopping streets.

Comfortable, central and Wow!

When I arrived, because of the unprepared room, a cup of coffee and cake was offered. The cozy hotel, in the very center of the city, is quiet, but all its pluses are over. During the three days of staying the room was not cleaned once. Breakfast is very modest, and the first day was better than the second. About the third breakfast I can't say anything - the departure was early and the promised, paid breakfast was simply forgotten by the hotel team. It was not pleasant, first of all because I couldn't take the medicine on time. Well, this careless attitude towards the guests also spoiled the impression of the trip.

This is a "over the top" ornate hotel within a five minute walking distance ti thecmain square and local markets, restaurants and shops.  The rooms and main areas are elaborately decorated with marble staircases, statutes and fabric.  

Very ornate hotel in a good location

We stayed one night in this hotel but came to draw conclusions about the decay and outdatedness of this unit. No elevators! Room (201) without anti-light curtains, completely outdated and inoperable furniture, dry toilets and smelling sewage. Poor little lunch in a decaying and poorly lit environment. To forget. Staff, nevertheless attentive. No luggage service... and the absence of elevators exacerbates this situation!

Completely outdated and decadent

I settled into this hotel on a group trip. It's a hotel that makes a difference by its design and decoration. It doesn't have elevators. It's a big room with a different decoration and furniture as well. It's in a central location. It's very bad Wi-Fi. The TV in the room didn't work. Lunch and Lunch have to be improved a lot and in every way, both in quality and service (one employee to serve and support 28 people).

Different

Gyumri is not the most glamorous place to be found, and even has a rather decayed appearance; looking at its past, it will be forgiven for all this, the muddy streets, the muddy marshes as sidewalks and the rare and ping-pong services. This hotel is fun; of course, the building is not a real palace, but the face is illusory, and especially the interior, made of stucco, the chatoyancy colors of the old-fashioned false high ceilings.

With a sky so gray that you have to forgive her.

nice hotel fir overnight stay, not more... luxury decoration and settings are too much and impressionbis that you are staying inside of the museum. Facilities are good, shower cabine, some toiletories, wifi. Bed is very inconvenient and problems with heating. 

overdose

I stayed overnight on the way to Yerevan. The hotel offers a free transfer from the airport. The rooms are luxurious, the bathroom has all the toiletries, including the robe, the breakfast is luxurious, I love to eat and I liked it. The heat was enough, the room is not cold. Excellent hotel for great money.

That's good.

I only went in to have coffee in the lounge. I saw no guests but the the staff was very friendly. The setting is extraordinary as you lounge in the voluptuous leather sofa's or armchairs. Good coffee as well.

extraordinary experience

The hotel is luxurious! Columns, paintings, crystal chandeliers, panels all over the walls, carpets, paphos furniture, gold, a glass dome-like roof with an effect of <under the open sky>... Some of the above will seem to be an excessive waste, some will consider what they see to be inadequate because of the accumulation of details, but in one thing I'm sure - it'll stay at this place for at least one night.
