Envoy Hostel Tours 

In June 2026, my wife and I booked a transfer from Yerevan to Tblisi via the monasteries of Sanahin, Haghpat, and Akhtala. This also included a small breakfast and a large lunch. We were extremely impressed. We loved all of the sights, and our guide was informative and interesting, with fun titbits of information on top of the worthier big-picture stuff. (Such as how to get good luck from the exterior wall of Haghpat!) We were worried about the lunch being a rip-off, but it was tasty, in large quantity, and in a remarkably pleasant environment. Our guide's help made traversing the Armenia-Georgia border smoother than doing it ourselves a little before. The only warning I'd give is that for operational reasons there are minimum numbers required to run the tour - but we were warned about this well in advance, which we appreciated after some other tour companies have not informed us of this until cancelling on us last minute. If you're one or two people willing to take that risk, and certainly if you're a group of three or more, strongly recommended!
