I rented this "high quality, high standards" house from November 21 to December 6.  sent an email in advance that arrival will be around 1-2 p.m.  upon arrival, cleaning lady and craftsmen busy in the house.  had to come back at 4 p.m., no further explanation.  At 4 p.m. only a Spanish-speaking cleaning lady was present who left immediately.  upon closer inspection of this "high quality" home there were many defects.  house not clean, pool completely full of leaves and rubbish, water rising from the floor in the middle of the living room, garden furniture old, broken and dirty, weeds 30-40cm high, outdoor shower not usable and defective.  The air conditioning in the bedrooms did not work, only warm air, doors did not close, closet or balcony not reachable coz two big beds blocked all doors, called reception and someone came to check the air conditioning.  worked a little better but not as it should.  nothing about the other defects.  The next day the pool was cleaned but no pump or filter was switched on or explained how it works.  without it the pool was a square tank of stagnant water that was completely dirty again after a day.  After complaining at reception they also become angry and rude because I complain.  they still had a lot to do in this house and yes I could look for another place to stay!!!!  On Friday, November 24, they repaired the air conditioning, but the bedrooms could not get below 21 degrees, and on Saturday, November 25 they " clean" a little the outside area, new garden furniture will be installed on Monday, November 27 promise me the manager, no garden furniture on Monday, no garden furniture on Tuesday and nothing further heard from the managers.  After a week of nothing but misery on my holiday, I left this "high standards, high quality" house on Wednesday, November 29.  no excuses, no sorry not even from booking.com.  Paid dearly for a week of misery and lost the first week of my holiday.  Photos are clear and I save all communication with this resort.


Lost one week of vacation 

This place is fantastic. The condo was spotlessly clean with every modern amenity and in excellent condition. The decor is modern, classy and of a very high standard.  We loved it here and will definitely be going back!

Modern condo, very clean, well equipped! 10 minutes from hotel area!! It’s definitely worth it and I’d come back!!!! Gated community with 24h security!!! The contact person Marisol was very helpful always replying within minutes!!! It was our first time abroad where we ditched a resort, well worth it!!!

One Happy Condo!!!

Beautiful condo with everything you need, just bring some groceries and laundry detergent and you’re set! You’ll want to rent a car, as it is in a gated community and not on the beach, but the community does have its own pools and a restaurant. The beach is just a few minutes’ drive, and the Palm Beach area is about 15 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice Condo in Gated Community

Gold Coast Aruba was quiet, pretty clean, did the job would stay again! Was within 10 min of the resorts. 24hr security, two bedroom condo had two floors, bedrooms were located upstairs and both had full bathrooms.

The condo we stayed in was clean, nicely supplied , well designed with two upper bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. Quiet, good privacy. Security entrance. Close to several beaches on North end of Island and hi rise hotel /shopping district not far. Good value too with access to two pools, clubhouse with exercise wellness center and restaurant/bar with good food and pleasant staff

Very clean and centrally located. Close to beaches and restaurants. Would stay there again. 
Easy access. Gated community. Private pools and clubhouse. All staff was friendly and accommodating. 
First trip to Aruba but will return.

Aruba Gold Coast

We stayed in a two-year-old condo. The condo has everything one would want, and more! The owner of the condo provides a gas grill and many beach items that will save a visitor money. My wife and I felt very safe during our stay at Gold Coast. The location is excellent. I would recommend renting a car. The beaches are near Gold Coast, but a car is advisable.

The downside to Gold Coast Condo is the gym. No one takes responsibility to replace or repair equipment. The TV does not work, and no one seems to care if it is fixed. The gym has a high ceiling which would be perfect for a couple of ceiling fans. Lastly, the gym temperature is comfortable if you do not work out. Unfortunately, no one is interested in keeping the gym comfortable while you are working out.

Great Condo-amenities not great

I really lucked out staying at the Gold Coast. They are building new condos, and luckily I was the first to stay in one of the brand new condos! Absolutely beautiful.

From the time I arrived, the host greeted me, told me about the villa, amenities, etc.
She provided complementary gifts of snacks, drinks & a reusable bag, which is actually very convenient since Aruba has a promise of keeping their island clean by eliminating plastic. 

Everything was super clean, as you can imagine being brand new. I have absolutely no complaints and will be requesting this villa next time I'm back!

Excellent Villas in Aruba

The property we stayed at was good and comfortable for what we were looking for. I don’t recommend spending your $ and eating at the restaurant on the property as the actual meal is not good, we were served stale food, the lady that was running the bar or took our orders basically kicked us out of the pool area that surrounds the main pool due to an event at the pool that residents had no advance notice about and no single sign mentioning they had a private event. It seems they rent out the main pool a lot which is a bummer for residents since that’s one main attraction for most travelers to book their properties as the beach is not nearby and you will need a car to drive to the nearest beach. Property management may want to consider hiring better staff at their restaurant or train the current staff to communicate in a polite/professional manner with their residents.
