My wife and I would highly recommend View St B& B. The owners Margaret and her husband Lou are friendly,helpful and look like they enjoy running the B & B. The rooms are spacious, tidy, homely and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and we were surprised at the amount that they put on. It is about 1 km walk from the town centre, so the location is great. Definitely stay here if you are planning a trip to Albany!

Excellent stay! Highly recommended.

We spent 2 delightful nights here. Our unit was spacious, clean, very quiet with separate bedroom, lounge room with TV & tea & coffee making facilities, a shower & toilet & separate entrance to our unit which gave us extra privacy. Our host Lew was extremely friendly & gave us all necessary information on places to go & where to eat etc. Breakfast was continental & also a delicious cooked breakfast by Margaret with a choice of pancakes or bacon & eggs. You also get a beautiful sea view from the sun room where breakfast is served. They offer free Wi-Fi with very good reception & free parking on site. I also love Margaret's paintings in our unit & in her on-site gallery.  The accommodation is situated in a quiet residential area & about 3 mins drive to town centre & within easy reach of most popular attractions.

A superior B & B

Travelling solo and Needing an overnight stay in Albany, I was delighted with 35 View Street Lodge and Art Gallery bed and breakfast.
The location is only 3 minutes drive to city centre. It is on the slopes overlooking the panoramic magnificence of Princess Royal Harbour.
The gardens are colourful and manicured. My apartment of room 3 contained a queen size bed, kitchenette and ensuite. The cleanliness of which is impressive.
Barbecue on the patio and a good size laundry detached from the house would be useful during a longer stay.
The breakfast room above has a wide view of the Harbour while the food was excellent and included in the reasonable tariff.
Mine hosts made every effort to please which was appreciated.
I would love to return to room 3 for a longer stay in this historic town in the cooler Great Southern of Western Australia.

We stayed one night in this apartment which is well located in the city of Albany. Very friendly owners and a good starting point for visiting the national parks in this area. Close to the city.
Apartment is well equipped and clean. Unfortunately the view is restricted due to the neighbours trees. We can recommend it for price/quality. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked and prepared.
Definitely recommend it if you wish to be with locals. However if you’re foreigner you’ll have to speak very good English to understand the owners.

Good studio for a visit of Albany

When we arrive we were warmly greeted by Margaret the owner, who showed us to our room and explained to us breakfast procedures and about local eateries and other tourist attractions, The room was lovely clean with all you could want in a B&B. View across to water and lovely kept gardens at the B&B. Next day at breakfast which was lovely we met Margaret husband Lou who was a character and nice bloke. We had a lovely stay at this B&B, and will stay again. Lovely owners and we met some other nice people staying there as well. I highly recommend this place.
