This was OK for a one night stay on our trip on the Great Ocean Road.  Bedroom was straight off the main living area and right by the front door.  Breakfast was "help yourself".  Nothing to particularly recommend staying here.

Overnight Stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B.  Gerard was an excellent, welcoming, helpful host with lots of stories and suggestions about the local area. Our room was lovely and clean, with a very nice en suite bathroom with a good shower. The room had a small table and chairs. The linens and toiletries were quite nice. There is a small closet area where the kettle was located which was convenient. Our room had a small outside patio which we did not use due to the weather. The common area was spacious and comfortable with a large living room/ diner with loads of furniture where you can hang out. The kitchen was spotless. Guests serve themselves breakfast –  coffee [there is ground coffee and a French Press], juice, yogurt, fruit, lots of different kinds of breads and spreads for toast, cheese, etc. There was more than enough for a convivial breakfast with the other interesting guests and Gerard.  For dinner, it is a short walk into Apollo Bay, with a fair number of places to choose from.

Our favorite stay on the Ocean Road 

A lovely little B&B located close to town.  Gerald met me on arrival and was full of interesting facts about the town and places to eat.

The room I had was lovely - a garden room with a terrace out the back, well equipped with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

The breakfast is continental and self-service.  A huge selection of cereals, toast, yoghurt and fruit available.

A good place to stop on the Great Ocean Road.

A Cosy B&B close to town

The Owner made comments that made you feel uncomfortable. The room was small, cold and we heard everything that was going on upstairs. He was always hovering around and would not stop talking, we left in a hurry on check out and would never be back, if you are looking for a relaxed place to stay go somewhere else, it was not a nice experience.

Not what it looks....

My wife and I spent two nights in this great B & B. I would give the host, Gerad,  5 star and pleasant person to talk to.  Rooms with balconies are spacious and very clean. Shops, beach & golf range are close by. would definitely stay there again.

Great location, great host and pleasant stay.

We stayed for two nights. Gerard was extremely kind and nice, gave us all the information we needed to go around. The room was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the artefacts in the living room. A highly recommended place to stay, walkable from the town centre.

Pleasant and comfortable stay

This is our second stay at this lovely place.  This time we chose the blue room.  We were made very welcome by hosts Gerard and Anna and were then left alone to enjoy the comforts they provided with the assurance that if we needed anything we could give them a call.  Adequate continental breakfast supplies provided, however there are also cafe options very close by.  Very good location with many dining options just a very short walk away. We also enjoyed the port and chocolates in the lovely comfortable lounge room on our return each night.

Three day break

We loved our three nights stay at this B&B. Gerard is very hospitable and accommodating. Location is amazing and place is spotless. Nothing is missing. 
You have own Keys to the property as well as your room. It is peaceful, and private place to relax. 
We loved it and will be back soon.

Great B&B

This is a lovely plce for a weekend getaway.  We stayed here with our friends this weekend and the owner is lovely and very knowledgable on the area. He can't do enough for you.  Great place for a group of friends to stay and there is a nice living area with fire for pre dinner drinks and to relax.  Very clean and the use of a well stocked kitchen.  Thanks for a lovely weekend.  Jo

Great place to stay

A perfect place to enjoy a couple of nights in Apollo Bay. Set slightly away from the main drag, we had a room at the back which was peaceful and quiet, yet a 3 min stroll into town or to the beach. This property is obviously a house which has been converted into a b&b- it has a homely feel as you walk in and you do feel like you’re staying as a house guest in someone else’s home. We loved this! If you want the Marriott - head back to Melbourne! The host was a friendly, unobtrusive man who was on hand to help when needed. Apollo Bay is a stunning area with plenty of restaurants, pubs and a stunning, calm beach. Highly recommend!
