Very comfortable room with attention to small details. We were in Armidale for a Bridge Tournament and could walk to the clubhouse. Owner was happy to post my left behind item free of charge. Breakfast was good.

Quiet and Great Value

Such an Olde worlde feel about the room : warm, comfortable and cosy The room provided everything we needed with little extra touches such as chocolates on the fresh line and a welcoming note from the house keeping staff. The bundle of books to buy at a very reasonable price was an unusual and interesting addition.

A great place to stay  in Armidale 

This was our second stay at White Lantern Motel.  Extremely clean and well presented. Loved the chocolates and the beautiful decor.  Easy check-in and departure.  Felt at home with a bedcover exactly the same as home. I left an outfit in the cupboard and it was promptly posted back to me.  We will definitely return where we feel comfortable and enjoy the quietness in a lovely room.  Thank you once again.  Xxoo 

A place like home.

Very impressed with the decor (especially the wing back chairs!) and the little extra touches with slippers and chocolates. Very clean and surrounds well kept and very comfortable bed with parking right outside our door. Will stay again when in the area. 

Value for money

The motel is clean and well-appointed (loved the inclusion of toothbrush and toothpaste!).  Close to cafes and restaurants and an easy 10 minute walk to the Information kiosk in town.  Staff were friendly and helpful - as a solo traveler this is very important to me.  Senior's discount was a very welcome surprise.  I will definitely stay here if I'm in the area again.

Great place to stay in Armidale

White Lanterns Motel offers quiet and budget friendly accommodation not far from the centre of Armidale. This family owned business goes out of its way to ensure that travellers have everything they need to feel right at home and get a good night's sleep. And the complimentary chocolates are a lovely treat to have with a cup of English Breakfast or Earl Grey tea.

Quiet and Inviting Country Charm

Needed a place to stay overnight on a two day drive and Armidale was approximately the halfway point. As we would not arrive until early evening and then out early the next morning we just wanted a motel that was clean, conveniently located and not in a noisey area so we could get a good nights sleep.
The White Lanterns Motel met all our criteria with the added bonus of being excellent value with its very reasonable room rate. Plus the staff were friendly, obliging and competent.

Clean, comfortable and quiet location

Bob and I had two very comfortable nights at The White Lanterns Motel in Armidale. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The room, and bathroom were spotlessly clean. A wide variety of Twinings teas were provided and a chocolate on our pillow!  Despite being on the main street it was very quiet. We would be very happy to stay again.

Comfortable, clean, quiet

This is a good value motel with all you need. It has a microwave, kettle and small fridge. The beds were very comfortable with electric blankets which were welcome as it was very cold in August!  Its not a new build but it is very clean and well maintained.  The host was very helpful. 

I would definitely stay here again.
