Amazing hosts who did everything to make our stay so comfortable. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean.  View is amazing. 
Definitely will be returning.

We stayed at Shiraz Cottage, for a family long weekend getaway. Absolutely fabulous - comfortable, warm, quiet, very well-equipped, just excellent in every way. Friendly welcome from hosts, great location.

Superb!

We recently spent a family weekend in their Shiraz Cottage for a belated birthday celebration. Despite the inclement weather we had a thoroughly enjoyable three night stay. The cottage is very spacious with generously sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a large deck offering spectacular views over vineyards, pastures and across to the border ranges. The bbq is very good and good quality bbq implements are provided. The cottage is very well equipped, including a decent sized fridge, but at the same time it is not cluttered with unnecessary table ornaments etc. The undercover parking was appreciated considering storms were forecast. Stacey and Brad have nailed a small boutique set of very impressive wines. At our convenience, Stacey and Brad laid on a very generous and enjoyable tasting experience.The 2021 Alvarinho is spectacular and was our favourite despite not being able to master the accompanying Stacey hip wiggle when saying the name! We had our own entertainment provided by our 17 month old grandson but, Bellie, the dog was on tap for extra entertainment! Stacey and Brad are excellent hosts and we will definitely be returning!

The hidden gem of Ballandean!!!

Two nights at Sancerre with old friends and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.  Brad and Stacey were the consummate hosts providing clean, comfortable and cosy accommodation, friendly advice about what to do in the region, relaxed and informative wine tasting, and a restaurant quality two course dinner in their cosy dining room in front of a log fire. Lovely breakfast provided too!  We stayed in the Shiraz cottage with plenty of chopped wood provided to keep the log fire going, a well set up kitchen, comfortable beds.  Nice little touches made us feel very welcome.  Just read through the other reviews, They all say the same.  Just a wonderful place for a getaway.

Lives up to every good review

Brad and Stacey.... An amazing couple who decided on a vine change and created a wonderful B&B. Room, bed, bathroom and Wi-Fi are all king size, as is breakfast and their welcoming personalities.

Take our advise and request the 2 course evening meal, wonderful local produce and very generous portions - restaurant quality in an intimate setting.

The verandah has very comfy furniture which is perfect for gazing over the vineyard whilst watching the sky change shades of pink as the sun sets.

Absolutely fabulous, thank you Brad and Stacey a relaxing recharge.

Just book it...

We spent 2 nights here. Stacey and Brad are very welcoming hosts. They cooked us a lovely dinner on our first night, as good as a good restaurant. And the cooked breakfasts were delicious and kept us going all day. Our hosts also gave us lots of advice on where to visit. The views across the vineyards were lovely.
Our rooms were very spacious, clean, comfortable and warm. Electric blankets on the beds. And a great fireplace. 
We loved our stay here and felt well looked after. I would highly recommend this as a lovely place to stay.

Great hospitality

We stayed at Sancerre Estate for a long weekend and loved the peace and quiet of the property and surrounding area. Stacey and Brad were excellent hosts, making us yummy breakfast every day and talking us through their fantastic wines during a tasting. The property is very well maintained and we enjoyed staying at one of their B&B rooms. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ballandean.

Romantic weekend getaway

Perfect views and perfect hosts who make you feel very welcomed,
Breakfast was excellent and we chose to have dinner which was superb. 
The house is quiet and easy to get to and very comfortable with a cosy guest lounge with logfire
Wine tasting with Stacy was a lovely experience.

Perfect views and atmosphere, great hosts and food

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in 'Shiraz Cottage'- this is perfect for 2 couples or a family.  Both king beds were very comfortable, one bedroom had an ensuite and walk-in-robe- the other had its own bathroom (both bathrooms were recently renovated so everything was clean and fresh).  The living room had a slow combustion fire with plenty of wood provided, this kept the whole place warm and cosy, plus there was a reverse cycle RC/AC.  The kitchen was well set up with a fridge, oven and microwave, a drip filter coffee machine, as well as a coffee plunger (ground coffee  and milk was provided in the fridge), there was also a toaster and a kettle (tea and sugar provided too), as well as an outdoor BBQ and outdoor dining table and chairs on the large covered deck with views over the vineyard.  At night we enjoyed the amazing stars.  There is a carport underneath the cottage so the car was under cover.  We enjoyed throwing sticks for beautiful 'Bella' dog.  We enjoyed a day trip with Simon from Wine Discovery Tours- highly recommended!  Thank you Stacey and Brad for a lovely stay!

Home away from Home!

Just enjoyed wonderful 3 night stay at Shiraz Cottage at Sancerre Estate Winery. Our hosts Stacey and Brad couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and the accommodation with the warming fire and view over the vineyard  to the mountains  was all we 3 couples could wish for. We'll certainly be back for another visit!
