Stayed overnight on our way through the Southern Highlands. Whilst it was an average price, the rooms are very basic, small and run down. Didn't have a safe feeling to the area or motel. Wouldn't stay here again. Staff were not particularly friendly. They did have a communal washing machine and dryer but didn't have any coins to change so we could use it, said we could drive down the road to the grocery store to get change. 

Quick overnight pitstop

Told by owner cannot check in after 5 pm. We were arriving at 8 pm. Would not let us pick up a key even. Have stayed there numerous times before. Previous owner would leave a key out for us. DO NOT STAY HERE. Stay elsewhere with someone that actually wants your business. 

CANNOT CHECK IN AFTER 5pm!! REFUSED TO LEAVE KEY OUT. 

Did a one night stay here. Good price. The guy at reception, brother of the owner, was friendly enough. Everything was relatively clean. The wall air conditioner /heater needed replacing it was noisy. The bathroom ceiling needed a little attention. Otherwise it was relatively clean and well maintained. 

It's just a short drive from town so food was easy. It was quite and I slept well. Would stay here again given the price.

Stay away from this place. Disgusting attitude from man that works or owns the place. Had booked and rang on the way to say may be running a little late for check in to be told we had only booked a room with single and double bed for 2 adults and 2 young kids...we said we had booked a twin room that was advertised to sleep 3 adults and 1 child but were happy to let the kids share a bed but he said that was illegal. We had an email confirming what we had booked and offered to forward it to him but he refused to listen or offer a resolution but instead was very rude and dismissive. We were happy to pay extra for a different room but it wasnt even offered and after the attitude of this man towards my wife we were glad we didnt. Thankfully we found a beautiful place nearby.

Disgusting attitude

Got to love a weekend trip away with my man.
We booked this motel of the Web and you will not be disappointed.
I stayed in room 15 on Thursday night and found my room and parking with ease, the man at reception told me what was around and where to go to get through the gate to the sports club.
Upon settling into my room I decided to drive the short trip to the IGA... Wow this place is huge and has a great range of items available.
Saw the Chinese restaurant and picked up a menu for the pizza restaurant too as we were there all weekend.
Friday morning I changed rooms and was able to leave my items in this room, so grateful that it was cleaned ready for me to do this... Thank you...
We had the family room and loved the kitchenette and the size of this room is huge.
We will be back to chill out another time
Chinese, Pizza and the sports club will not dissapoint.
Easy to find and quick to get back on the freeway north or south and only a quick trip to Wollongong.

Great service as refunded day before couldn’t get to bargo because of the fires
Not many would refund the day before in what is a very difficult time with everything. We hope to come back another time

Australia adventure 

I have stayed at this motel several times over the last few years. Its always been pleasant to stay. The sports club is next door serving great tucker. The town is within in walking distance but those like me with health issues. Its only a couple of minutes to all the facilities by car
The motel has been around for years. It may not be much to look at from the outside. But the rooms are immaculate and clean. With the added bonus of breakfast, a small kitchen and washing facilities to use, can't go wrong. The owners are very welcoming. Any problems willing to resolve them. My only issue would be the noisy AC unit. It works, thats what matters
Would I recommend the motel, yes

Great place to stay

Small little gem for the dollars super clean rooms .yes you do get some noise from the train's but nothing to great.only downside was the wafer pillows bed was comfy .the self serve breaky great idea.bathroom spotless rooms also spotless. Yes its a oldie but a goodie.other upside the direct access to the sports club great meals and beers

Stayed here overnight on my way through to Melbourne so I was looking forward to a good night's sleep to prepare for 9 hours of driving the next day.
The room smelled so strongly of perfume / cleaners / fabric softener that I had to open the bathroom window, put on fans and air con. to be able to stand being in there.
I couldn't use the towels as they had so much fabric softener on them they were slimy and felt like I was wiping chemicals onto my skin.
I had to put my own bedding and pillows on top of the bed as the sheets also smelled too strongly of fabric softener to sleep in. (luckily I had extra bedding in my car)
The trains rumbled past every hour waking me and the bar fridge was noisy.
The owner was friendly but totally unaware of allergies and synthetic perfumes.
Definately will never stay there again.

Don't Stay here if you have Allergies or need Sleep.

If you're looking for good, clean accommodation with everything you need and nothing you don't, then the Bargo Motor Inn is a great choice. Comfy bed and pillow and spotlessly clean bathroom. Proximity to the Sports Club was the reason I booked and it's literally just next door. I'd definitely stay here again.
