Stay here for work multiple times a year. 
Anita and staff are always very accommodating! Cannot fault the service or rooms! Plus the food…. Amazing!!
Definitely pop in and stay on your way through!!!

Worth the stay!

We made a booking at a mission beach resort, their eftpos wasn’t working so we were told to pay on arrival. We travelled from Townsville with two young children only to find on our arrival they did not book us in. The only accommodation available was Tully Motel and at 8pm they took us in, even arranged an extra bed as they only had a room for 3 left. The beds were super comfortable, rooms clean and new bathroom. Very happy with the price and service.

Made our day

We stayed in Tully at the Tully Motel as we were caught by the  road closures due to flooding further south. What a life saver- a quiet unit overlooking green fields, a great dinner from the restaurant ( room service as they had a function on but were still willing to accomodate us) new beds and a renovated bathroom. Fantastic service from Anita also. Thank you so much.

Road closed

The first time I stayed here was over 10 years ago, since then I have tried a few times, but they were always fully booked. This time I stayed 3 nights. One night, then two nights about a week later. The rooms were comfortable, the restaurant food was as outstanding as it was years ago. Three meals, and I could not finish any of them. Excellent full plate, and the best food, a great menu. My friend and I tried 6 different meals, all were outstanding ! The lamb shanks were my favorite. All this was backed up with excellent, friendly service.

The best motel food/restaurant ever !

Stayed here recently for work.  I have stayed here previously for work also. Ask for a room to the rear of the property if you don’t want to be woken early by workers leaving early.  The rooms are clean and the bathroom spacious. 
The restaurant has some delicious meals that are well priced.

Clean and Tidy

I stayed here for one night, for work,  and was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom, shower only, had plenty of room to move. The bedroom was a good size, double and single bed, and had aircon and a ceiling fan, and screens on the window. All rooms were at ground level.

If noise bothers you, the railway line is just across the Highway. For me, though, it wasn't  a problem.

The menu, for Plantations Restaurant, was very well thought out, with gluten free options for mains and desserts. I had room service, and the meal was faultless. I had proscuitto and sage chicken with a walnut, fennel and apple salad, and the flourless chocolate cake. It was superb.

I will very definitely stay here again - it is one of the best country motels I have stayed in.

Lovely one-night stay

This accommodation provides comfortable, large rooms. It is also clean and quiet. It was the perfect stopover and close to town for restaurants. Car parking was also undercover and right outside the room.
