Last minute booking after traveling all day and the staff were amazing and very helpful.  Rooms were everything we could ask for plus more. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 from us.

Clean, comfortable room. Quiet and relaxing. Room a little dated but everything you need, very comfortable bed and hot shower. Table, cutlery and crockery provided with microwave and adequate sized fridge so self catering easy. Staff friendly and great location next to the beach.  

Perfect overnighter

Nice clean room. The beds were comfortable and the staff friendly. Good price for a good nights sleep. I like the fact you can hire canoes. The pool look great too. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

1 night stay with the family

Very clean units, and really friendly and helpful hosts.
This was a visit on a budget so went on location and cost when picking this place, sight unseen. We arrived after hours so were given useful and easy to follow directions to our unit.
During our stay we needed to order food in, and because of a storm we had no reliable Internet. The hosts were more than happy to order on our behalf and even offered to go collect.
Units were basic, a bit dated, but we we very happy with amenities and cleanliness.
Would happily stay there again

Great location, and very clean and tidy

The rooms were clean, neat and very comfortable but beyond that, the staff, Samantha in particular, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were genuinely friendly and caring. The location is also second to none. 
I highly recommend staying here, you certainly get 'bang for your buck'.

Absolutely Fantastic

Clean, motel managed by a very bright, cheerful and efficient host Samantha who warmly welcomed us upon arrival after a long drive - the villas looked great too, will look at staying in these next time! 

Great host, clean motel

Every now and then you stumble across a piece of magic and that's what we found at the Boyne Island Motel & Villas. After living on a tropical island in the South pacific, we were instantly transported to that time by the motel decor. The motel was QUIET, the beds brilliant and we were close to local restaurants and bars. There were beautifully manicured walkways, boat ramps and areas for children to run amok. Will we be returning? You bet ya!!

We stay at the Boyne Island Motel & Villa quite often as we love the location, but this was the first time we stayed in a studio.  We were really impressed with the layout and cleanliness plus the bed was super comfortable.
Being situated on the Boyne River mouth is wonderful for strolling, swimming and fishing. There are endless bike paths along the Boyne River extending over the bridge to Tannum Sands for those who prefer that mode of transport. 
The hosts are always delightful and friendly.   I would definitely recommend this location to everyone!

Boyne River Magic

Stayed for one night only! Thank god!

The bed was very, very uncomfortable! Rock hard, no sleep.
The unit was not up to any decent standard, old worn linen, not very clean, and crawlies!

Then to top it off, without notice my cc was charged $50.00. I phoned and asked why, the unreasonable staff member suggested it was because I had not taken the rubbish out, and I
had left the unit untidy! Really.

She added think yourself lucky, other places charge $200.00. I was left feeling unfairly treated.
She did not care at all, as a pensioner $50 is not something i want to lose, especially giving it to this establishment, when, what she said was untrue.

 At this very unpredictable time in Australia 
 I would think hotels/motels would treat the paying public with a certain amount of decency.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and were delighted with everything about it.  From the very friendly and helpful staff when we arrived, the very clean and comfortable one bedroom villa with everything you could need plus many little thoughtful extras, to the location next to the river, it was a great experience.  The bed was so comfortable, just like home. Even the online check-in was easy and asked intelligent questions about COVID!  We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to everyone without hesitation.
