We paid over $400 for 2 night, and to find out that we had no hot water in the winter time. Was not something you wanted after a whole day at the snow. We were ask to use another units shower, and the husband would come and have a look, which he never did. The front door was hard to open. The wardrobe door was broke. Someone’s shoes were left under the bed 🤮 heater didn’t warm the unit, shower screen shaking when on the toilet, floor uneven, beds hard as a rock. I wouldn’t paid more than $70 a night for this place.

Never again

Our experience at the Coach House Inn was traumatic. One night we came home at about 10pm and got verbally abused by the owner for being too loud after no warnings. I have never experienced such disgusting and unprofessional language used against another human before. The way the owner spoke to us was totally inhumane and was not okay to throw such foul language around like she did. Very unprofessional after no warnings to keep the noise down. She slammed our door after leaving as hard as she could and nearly broke her own door. Which of course, did heaps to keep the noise down 🙄 

Our room was dirty, shower was the worst I have ever experienced which is not ideal after being at the snow all day. There is no parking so you are forced to park in a muddy lane way next to the accommodation which is highly inconvenient. But all of these things are very minor in comparison to how we were treated and spoken to. We have the whole thing on video if anyone would like to see it.

DO NOT STAY HERE. OWNERS ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.

I would love to give more than 3*. People were nice and friendly, location amazing, pool good for kids. We stayed in a family room. Well appointed and clean. However the bathrooms in dyre need of updating. The whole bathroom smelt of urine. The shower screen door not aligned and my son fell trying to push it open. Had we been staying for more than 1 night I would have asked for someone to come back and clean bathroom/toilet area to rid of strong urine smell. But I should not have to when paying full holiday price. Worth giving another go. 

Lots to like so wish I could give higher rating

It's really a shame that this establishment has so much going for it but lets itself down so badly, in so many ways. Location great, bed OK and water pressure good. That's where it stops. All we want when we travel is clean and tidy accommodation. This was not. From the moment we set foot inside it smelt stale and musty. The floor appeared dirty, the bathroom was mouldy and walls covered in dead insects that had come in through window with no screen. The couch was dirty with debris layered under cushions and hairs in the bed. The whole inside is just so tired and really needs a freshen up. The pool looked like a science experiment so that was not an option. All up what should have been a few joyous nights in Bright was not. Very little time spent in room, even though it rained for a couple of days whilst we were there. Oh forgot to mention, lady at reception upon arrival friendly and helpful. Thank you. In the end you pay for what you get. Good price and that should have been the wake up call. All this aside Bright is just terrific.

Not a great experience

A nice place, not modern but a nice roomy accomodation. We had a queen size bed, sofa, easy chair, table and chairs in the main living area, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. Somewhat quaint/cosy but everything necessary.
Good outdoor area And BBQ with plenty seating and tables round a decent size pool
Plenty parking off road. 
Well suited to walk to everywhere in town

Cosy but roomy accomodation

From lockdown we booked a week in Bright, finally out of Melbourne, on arrival at the Coach Inn, reception chap advised us Room 1, on the left, there's NO Parking, park in the side lane, here's milk, seeya?..Rm1 was small, run down, floor sloped away from bed, bathroom size was compact and very much in need of repair. On a quick word with the house keeping staff in reference the room condition, we were moved the next day to Rm3 a family 2 bedroom room that was very nice and a huge improvement. The move made our stay enjoyable as the motel is central to all of Bright, walking distance to everything, staff advised they are updating rooms and Rm1 was next. The pool area is relaxing, BBQ area has all tools you need. In summary, Great location, friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, rooms dated but getting renovated, well worth a stay.

Out of Covid Getaway

To be honest we were disappointed with our room. The pictures were so much better than real life. The room was smaller than we thought with the bed appearing to be way too big for the room. On entering we noticed a musty smell as though it had been locked up for quite while and the room looked old and tired. There was a tiny cupboard to hang clothes, a large tv, too big for the room we felt, and the large although comfortable bed. The kitchenette was tiny and under supplied with no milk in the fridge, or even offered on arrival and an antiquated microwave oven. The bathroom was okay for size but that could because the sink and cupboard was tiny and had very little ventilation. The position of the hotel was perfect to everything you want in Bright with bars, restaurants and walks nearby. There are limited parking spaces for guests and what spaces we saw were very tight getting in and out.

Perfect position but overpriced

Spacious room with lots of lovely light on overcast days.
very convenient location. 
This place was a welcome relief after a place we were originally staying in, in Bright. 
We will happily return here. :)

We changed our accomm to here and didn't regret it.

Calling Coach House home for a few days in July 2020, again we were impressed with all aspects. The perfect base for exploring Bright and surrounds - in many ways, a true pot of gold... Definitely coming back.

When location is everything...

My partner and I stay here every time we visit Bright! It’s so great and so well priced. It’s the best position in town and close to everything. The pool / bbq / outdoor entertaining areas are so useful, we’re always out there. Rooms are clean and have everything you need! King beds are soooo comfy!!
