If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was awakened during the night by a stranger entering my room. The young bloke on reception was not very welcoming on arrival and turns out provided keys to the wrong room altogether. The doors are not secure and can be locked only by a snib lock, no deadbolt. No curtains to block out light just blinds. Shower leaks out onto the floor. Very noisy. Would definitely give this place a wide berth.

Excellent location right in the centre of town, clean and spacious room. The product is great for what you pay per night. 
Parking onsite which is very convenient  at peak times where parking can be hard to come by in town, if you plan on spending a couple of nights in Bright you would never need to use your car!
Check in very easy, very short walk from car park which is clearly signposted, be mindful of the clear instructions provided at the time of booking, as the bar staff in this small town are more available to help with check in not at peak times in the pub. 

We found the location to be excellent for our needs however do be aware the motel is very close to a road and the pub is close by, this didn't bother us at all however something to bare in mind. 

We would definitely stay again, perfect for couples or groups of friends visiting Bright. 

Location, Location, Location 

Room clean and tidy, and well stocked apart from a microwave, toaster and various cutlery / crockery items, which was frustrating when we wanted to make toast for brekkie.

It's a long walk from check-in (next to the hotel bar) to the actual rooms, which is a hassle if you need something trivial (e.g. plates).

Try not to check-in across dinner time, particularly not on a Friday, as the staff are frantic with dinner service and serving at the bar, and seemed to have little time for hotel guests.

Our room faced the beer garden directly, so we were worried about noise, but it quietened down reasonably early.  But if you need to sleep earlier in the night, get a room that is on the street end of the block or bring really good earplugs.

If there are motorbikes staying (particularly large CC ones like the Honda Goldwing that woke us at 7:50 a.m.) prepare yourself for interrupted sleep, as the carparks are right at the door to the rooms.

Good hard product, but average soft product.

Our room was fresh,  big and clean. This hotel is adjacent to a pub. It’s centrally located so you can get noise from patrons and the pub music. We were there Sunday night so after 9pm things were pretty quiet. Room 12 is not a great room as it has windows on the footpath and passing foot traffic can be noisy. There’s also construction going on around the amenity so parking was difficult for us.

Cheap, central, easy

I stayed 3 years ago and liked, so tried it again. It was as good as I remembered. Quiet aircon, furnish but comfy bed, plenty of hot water. Only difference to three years ago was the new bathrooms are older now. They were clean and still ‘white’ after that time. It’s not flash, but considering it’s in prime Victorian weekender territory the price is ok too.

We were there for dinner. Food is OK  and the kitchen was very busy. Not cheap.....but fine. My pork was not great but my fellow diners had meals they were happy with. There was a lot of salad, vegs and chips with every meal.  Desserts were standard.  Drinks came from the bar.

Recently stayed at Alpine Hotel for one night whilst travelling through Victoria.

Check in was easy, staff very friendly.

Room was very clean, looks like it had recently renovated. Bathroom was very good, decent sized shower. Didn’t find mattress 100% comfortable ( just our opinion, others may like)

We broke down nearby and decided to stay at the most central place in town. The food and atmosphere in the pub was great but our room lacked a little considering the price. 
The air con was not able to keep up even though it was a cool night, the bed was hard and the toilet seat although new didn’t match the bowl and kept moving side to side when seated.

Great food but accommodation is overpriced and rooms whilst refurbished are not great.

Visited Bright with no plans. Stopped at the Alpine pub for a beer and evaluate where we could stay. Was pleased to find they had accommodation. It's very central to town. Walking distance to everything you want to see in Bright. The recent upgrades to the rooms have given them a luxurious feel. Modern appearance and a crisp clean feel. The bathrooms were excellent affordable with a more expensive feel.Were were very happy with our stay at the Alpine Hotel and will be definately staying there again on our next visit, highly recomend, two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏼

Great value!

The Motel attached to the Pub is typical of the 70's motels of the time, however it has been maintained and given a freshen up not to long ago. A fresh coat of paint and new linen and carpets. Comfy new beds also. The bathroom  still original but maintained well and was actually nice having the bath still as would come in handy if had done physical activities. Beautifully clean. Reasonably priced and sensational location.
