My wife & I stayed at this beautiful B & B over a four day weekend stay. We had a large bedroom with a great big bed, an en-suite bathroom and a large and very comfortable dining room. Here we could watch tv, enjoy a fresh cooked cake each day for afternoon tea and a beautiful breakfast each day.
It was a fifteen minute walk into the town centre or a two minute drive. Many thanks to Libby Phillips for her hospitality and for the many small treats provided. Quite simply, the best place to stay in Bright. A bonus was that Libby booked our evening meals before our stay due to the large number of visitors in town. Seek her advice on this point.

A wonderful place to stay.

If you like staying in B&B's then you will like this one.
 A large house on a corner block with a beautiful front garden, just around the corner from the main Street of Bright (15min walk).
Here you have your own room and ensuite and on the other side of the hallway, your own lounge or sitting room with open fire place. Which we did not use as it was 36 degrees! We did, however, use the airconditioner in the bedroom.
We had Claire's room with big comfy king sized bed and small ensuite, the shower cubicle was very small and a big person may struggle.
The hostess, Libby was experienced in B&B's so is not in your face but there when required. She organised us dinner at Simone's and offered to pick us up from there later.
Libby is also a good cook and provided us with afternoon tea and a delicious breakfast from the menu of broadbeans and Tassie feta on ciabatta. Libby prides herself on serving all organic, local food (including some Tassie  products as that is her passion).
Upon leaving she offered me a bag and told me to take as many plums from her tree in the front yard as I wanted.

Brought my mother here for a night away in April... The cottage is cute and the bed comfortable, but there is quite a dip in the floor. As mentioned in other reviews, there is no breakfast included if you stay in the cottage. However the garden is absolutely beautiful and we felt very secluded, didn't even see or hear the other guests. The staff were friendly, but there was no one available to collect the key when we checked out, meaning we had to leave it inside our room and the door unlocked. We would come back though, it was very nice for a last minute getaway.

Sweet but basic

After reading the glowing reviews about the wonderful breakfast provided at this
B & B l was furious to discover that no breakfast was included, even though l had paid top dollar. Highly disappointing and almost impossible to tell when booking online. I felt very ripped off and this tainted what should have been a romantic getaway.

Bed & Breakfast without the breakfast

After we read some reviews, we booked the cottage & look forward to go. Owner offered we can take our child with us. However, when we arrived after drive 3 hours, staff is very bad face to us said "we are not welcome to child" IN FRONT OF MY CHILD, as explained, she accepted & let we go to the cottage. She didn't show us which way we go to cottage, just point.This is really rude to us, especially to my child. Feel like spend money for angry!! No apologies until we asked for tax invoice to owner after stay, which still didn't give to us yet (only stay details). Cottage is clean & pretty, but as staff is so bad words, we wouldn't enjoy much. Also, no internet at all.
