I recently stayed at Invercauld house for work related accommodation. As it was a long stay due to my work commitments I required meals be provided. I cannot commend this establishment enough, the accommodation was clean, modern, and ideal. The meals were impeccable and since I needed to work mainly from my room the service was excellent. Great place to stay

Invercauld House has been refurbished since my last visit and what a delightful surprise!
The rooms are now ultra modern, super comfortable and clean, The bathroom is gorgeous.
There are lots of included extras like snacks which was very much appreciated after a long drive. Breakfast is supplied in the fridge and enough to get you through the whole day!
Everything from furnishings to snacks is of exceptional quality.
The surroundings are beautiful and quiet and the location is close to shops and restaurants whilst maintaining a quiet, peaceful environment.
A great stay and will keep returning.

DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE

I had the privilege of having my wedding reception at Invercauld House. Amoreena was instrumental in ensuring the preparation was stress-free for me leading up to and on the day of my wedding. We were surrounded by beautiful views of the valleys surrounding us and the sunset dinner of roast meats, delicious salads and a spread of delectable desserts kept our stomachs full all evening. 
Everything was taken care of down to the minute detail, with the decorations, food and drinks were all considered and planned in the weeks prior to ensure a hassle-free day for me and my new husband.
Family and guests had the option of staying on site in one of the beautiful newly renovated and spacious rooms. Each room boasts a homely feel with all the essentials like tea, coffee and toiletries, as well as an extremely comfortable bed and rainfall shower head, for a pleasant stay. 
Bridal party preparations took place in the beautiful Valley View room where lots of natural light poured in through the large glass doors overlooking gorgeously maintained gardens. We were grateful for the fruit platter and tea and coffee available that morning, and the relaxing atmosphere in that room set the tone for the rest of the day.
A huge thank you to Amoreena and Joy and the rest of the staff who so graciously worked with me to create the special day I had envisioned, who succeeded in making the entire event a peaceful and joyous affair. 
We will definitely be back to enjoy another stay next time we are in the area!

Sunset wedding reception in a beautiful location

Our daughter had her wedding reception at Invercauld house. Family and friends coming from interstate could stay at the newly refurbished units which were modern and fresh. Beds were comfy and hospitality was generous with little extras that set it apart from other motels. 
On the day, the bridal party got ready in a beautiful day room with breakfast and coffee and pristine views for photography.
The staff were really friendly, welcoming, accommodating and well organised. The thought put into disability access meant that all our family could enjoy their stay.
The reception was catered for perfectly, with decor, delicious food and service without a fault.
We would highly recommend Invercauld House as a beautiful setting for a wedding and reception.

Beautiful setting, accommodation, and wedding reception!

Stayed in 2 rooms with adjoining door which was ideal with a toddler. The only downside was that he could reach the door handles to get out!! The grounds were lovely and we had a wallaby and a rabbit pop by our backdoor. Very quiet and clean. Beds were comfortable and generous room size.

Value for money

Parking at your door. Staff (Donna) was friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions of nearby places to dine. There are restaurants within a couple of minutes drive. The room had everything we needed including free wifi and breakfast was delivered on time to our room. The property is a ways off the highway so very quiet and no traffic noise to ruin your slumbers.

Friendly Staff Great Price Accommodation

The accommodation at Invercauld House is provided in separate cabin style units and is okay, the bed is comfortable and clean, and the unit has the normal Motel/Hotel room inclusions like the small TV, kettle, toaster, cups and glasses etc,. There is a communal building setup with a great stove and oven and multiple fridges. The communal building can (I think) give you all the cooking you need to do (bring all the food you think you will need) there are enough tables and chairs for a reasonable number of people, which is great if you are there for a large family gathering or with a social group. The only thing I could not stand about the place was a foul and damp smell throughout both the accommodation cabin and the communal kitchen building and it really killed all the pleasure that the place could have provided. It was as though everything had been closed up for days beforehand. The outside of the cabins also really needed a hit with a high pressure cleaner and cobweb broom. Overall it was very average and not up to today's accepted standards for a commercial property.
The manager of the Centre was a very helpful person and I am sure he really did everything he could to make the Centre run as good as he could. 
I am led to believe, Invercauld House and Conference / Function Centre is actually owned by Southern Cross University and I think the problem may lay with the University's management and budgeting committee as it was apparent the Centre was trying to operate on a very small skeleton staff who were all extremely busy.

A convenient place to stop for a night or two.

Stayed recently due to a sporting event in Lismore; price was very attractive; on arrival the receptionist was lovely; the grounds and view were spectacular however the room is basic but for the price you would not expect anything more; best thing was the room was very clean an the beds were comfortable even though the double/king was two singles pushed together; unfortunately the flyscreen was torn and we go hit with mossies and could not get any mb coverage even though we were on top of a hill. All in all if you are looking for cheap, clean accommodation then this is exactly the answer. would stay again.

Comfortable and Economical

What a tired worn out place! No staff on weekend, so no chance for breakfast or to ask questions. The room was drab and had an overwhelming cleaner smell to it. It was after we had been in the room a few hours that we worked out why - it was to mask the hideous musty mould smell. It was terrible and we couldn't wait to leave. We asked for a crib for our 10 week old, and got one, with no mattress or blankets, but it did have a pillow! Free Wifi - was not working! Not recommended, there are nicer places to stay in Lismore.
