Thank you Angus for making out stay so relaxing. Barbara’s Guesthouse is set up so well, they have thought of everything. We had a fabulous stay.  The rooms was spotless as was the entire house. Loved the shower in the ensuite. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were so soft. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Loved the gardens, the decor throughout the house. 
Close to everything. Would recommend to couples, girls trips, and family groups. 
We will definitely be back. 

Perfection 

Barbara's guesthouse is such a lovely place! It is very cosy, private, stylish, and all the details are very well thought of - you've got absolutely all you need! I booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 6, and I would absolutely do it again. The hosts, Ginny & Bec, are so kind, helpful and flexible - I had some unexpected changes to my plans which they both were very supportive about and made me feel at ease. Oh and the location is so convenient and quiet - you will love it if you want to stay very close to the town (a couple of min walk from the main street), but away from hectic and loud crowds. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Byron!

Cosy and stylish home away from home

We stayed 3 nights. A quiet location but central, only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. It will be shorter once the path through the bus terminal is open.
The Guest house has 5 bed rooms , not all the rooms have ensuites, some have separate private bathrooms. The house is very clean and well maintained.
 Georgie the host is very kind and knowledgeable. A very nice place to have a relaxing quiet holiday. There was complimentary wine and cookies in the room. 
The continental breakfast was self help. There is a relaxing covered outdoor area.

Very Clean & Comfortable

I spent three nights in the loft at Barbara’s guesthouse in autumn 2020 and the accommodation and overall trip could not have been more idyllic. The living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were all perfect. Very private residence in a quiet, leafy area, all just a short walk into the main town and beaches. Love the outdoor hot shower! I highly recommend this place! Every detail had been thought of and our stay was perfect. I will be back!

Gorgeous stay in The Loft at Barbara’s Guesthouse!

We stayed in Barbara's guest house for 1 night in Jan 2020. Its in a great location - less than 5 mins from the town centre. It was really clean, had a new and modern bathroom, and a cool retro beach style. Also had a/c and a fan, and a beach bag with complimentary beach towels which was really handy.  There was a great communal area including kitchen / dining room, and a great garden with sofas. We were really grateful for the late check out - thanks!

Great Byron guesthouse

Barbara's Guesthouse is a fantastic place to stay in Byron Bay. It's a short walk away from the main downtown, and that means it's quieter and you get the best of both worlds. All the spacious rooms are beautifully decorated with loads of comfortable places to relax and socialize. I stayed in the largest part of the house where I had my own small kitchenette and bathroom. It was so clean and peaceful. Everything about my stay was smooth and pleasant because the manager, Claudia is so kind, welcoming, and helpful. 

Beautiful And Relaxing Oasis

Lovely guesthouse with lots of privacy with access to your own ensuite shower and bathroom. Clean kitchen to make your own breakfast but if you are a fan of bacon and eggs you would have to go out for that. No cooking allowed but you can use toaster and microwave. Lovely garden and great to have laundry facilities too. 
Short walk to Byron centre and very safe. Great for female and those traveling alone that wants a bit of privacy.

Serene and convenient

Premium en-suite. The room has very poor isolation and it was freezing, there was no way to warm the bedroom and it was really uncomfortable. Perhaps other room wouldn’t have this problem but my experience was awful

Barbara's Guesthouse is a great place to stay in Byron and good value for money. It is spotlessly clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay, including help yourself coffee and tea and breakfast, just like a home away from home. The deck at the rear of the house is a lovely place to hang out. It is very handy to Byron shops which are just across the old railway line and there's no problems parking your car. Room 4 (no ensuite) that I stayed in is a little dark in winter but would be nice and cool in summer months. 

Great place for a Byron visit

A lovely B&B.  We only stayed one night, but couldn’t fault this lovely property.  It’s an easy walk to shopping, eateries and the beach.  The night was cool, but we turned in the outside heaters and enjoyed a couple of pre-dinner drinks on the deck.  The only negative - I couldn’t figure out how to use the coffee machine!
