We booked The Crest Appartments based on feedback reviews and had a great stay . 

We had a lovely well appointed apartment overlooking the pool which we used most days 
We enjoyed the morning and evening bird song and Dan was a great host 
We’ll be back

A Great Place To Relax

Upgraded kindly by Dan   to a two bed apartment on arrival. Very few other guests so mostly had the  pleasant pool area to ourselves. Pool was clean and fairly cold although supposedly heated to 27 degrees. Our apartment was clean,  spacious and well appointed and right next to the pool and steps to garage and underground carpark.. The fan in the second bedroom ad been forgotten in the refurbishment but otherwise the beds and linen were excellent and the whole place was newly painted. We enjoyed  our stay but found it irritating that paid parking was necessary in all of Byron bay until 6 pm. The walk into town was fairly quick alongside a busy road.  A  good break. Thankyou Dan

Great place for 5 days with the family, with amenities supplied and topped up when running short by the ever helpful, Dan. Good location out of the central area, but all within walking distance. Popcar do a great hourly car hire service, also very close by and would recommend. Pool was clean and healthy, and yes not 5 star, but more than meets the needs of a travelling family.

Great Stay for the family

The BFF & I stayed to go to Bluesfest. 
Great service and everything you could need was available. The location was great and I like that it was just that little bit further out from the main Street to enjoy the walks into town.
Also being out of the CBD, it was alot quieter.

Have stayed at The Crest a few times over the last few years and while we love the location, the the complex really needs some love.. 

The pool needs a deep clean, car park looks like it’s being used as a dumping ground, a few lights out and one of the child proof gates needs attention.  

Hopefully this constructive feedback will be received, as intended with grace

Complex facilities need some love..

We were unable to attend The Crest on 1 March due to road closures and flooding - natural disaster in the area. Dan the manager has been kind in offering a credit for future travel.  We appreciate your offer . Byron Bay we look forward to visiting The Crest when your lives return to your new normal. Our hearts go out to you . Thankyou Dan

Very accommodating

Clean, comfortable, perfectly maintained. We won’t stay anywhere else when we go to Byron. A great selection of rooms and villas for whatever your group size is. Lovely pool and bbq area. Magnificent gardens, private courtyards, secure parking underneath. 5 minute walk to the Main street. 
Manager Dan is so welcoming, remembers us each time.

We keep coming back!

We arrived to find that we had been put in an apartment with a double bed rather than the twins room that had been requested and verbally confirmed with Dan the Manager.  We got moved the next day, after my niece spent a rough night on a bad sofa bed, to a great apartment but it felt begrudgingly accommodated and no apology or offer to help move our bags from one top floor apartment to another. 2nd apartment only had one blanket for two beds and my request for a 2nd blanket went unanswered. We hired two bikes from the Crest with faulty breaks and no bells. I misunderstood the departure time but when requested packed up and moved us out within 45 mins - so yes we were 1.5 hours beyond the 10am departure but after paying $3700 for 6 nights, I thought a $50 late check out fee was unreasonable and when I made a request by replying to Dan’s text message for the fee to be waived again no reply and it was just put on my credit card. From prior communication I really got the feeling that Dan was going to be a great host but he only seemed concerned about “the owners” who he kept mentioning in our conversations and made me feel like we were the problem rather than the customers. Sorry but we won’t be back.

Great apartment but issues with communication and charges.

We stayed at The Crest over New Year.  Location is fantastic - about a 7 min walk into the town where you can find cafes, restaurants and anything you really need is here.  We also went on a little trek walk to see if we can access the beach from the back entry area of The Crest as there was a sign saying "Beach".  It's about a 10 min walk to Belongli beach and its actually quite pretty as you navigate through the trees and walk on the sand.

The 1 bedroom room was perfect and very spacious and very clean (which i loved).  The bedroom is seperate to the main area and the kitchen and lounge area are great and comfortable.  We enjoyed staying at The Crest and will definitely return and stay at our new fav Byron location!  Thank you Dan for a wonderful stay!!!

Excellent accommodation & location

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well appointed in a quiet location with easy access to the beach and town.  Staff were friendly and helpful with regards to local information.  The stay was let down by the lack of cleanliness.  The crockery in the cupboards were greasy and contaminated with dried food.  Window ledges were coated in dust and dirt, as were the tops of the kitchen appliances.  There was also an ant infestation in the bathroom.  We told the staff about the ants and no action was taken.  We also told the staff about the cleanliness problems prior to posting this review but obtained no response.
The grounds also needed some maintenance work.  Pathways were overgrown with vegetation. Bed linen was clean but additional blankets supplied in the cupboards had not been cleaned.
