Such a hidden Gem!  4 Private cabins only set in such peaceful and beautiful surrounds.  The accommodation was spotless and well appointed.  First class facilities and such a comfy bed… the 2 person bath tub was so relaxing.. it is also a spa however we chose just to soak!
There are walks throughout the property and an easy drive to Kenilworth if you are needing any supplies.  Would definitely recommend and hope to return again..

Aah… So Peaceful and a 1st Class Facility

Such a beautiful place to unwind and relax. The hosts are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. The little extras added to your stay are standouts and will help make your stay easy and very special. The views and wildlife breathtaking. It's one of those special finds for couples wanting to relax and enjoy nature, serenity, comfort. 
We'll definately be coming back. Thank you. 

A perfect escape 

I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from their busy life. The cabins are spacious, and private with modern facilities. You will wake up to the sounds of birds and have views of beautiful country. Barb and Lloyd are very accomodating and allow you to walk freely around their property to meet their animals. You get daily breakfast with fresh, local produce. It’s only a 5min drive to Kenilworth and a 25min drive to Maleny. 
This place is amazing and anyone who stays here will have a wonderful time. 

An amazing getaway for our anniversary 

How magical these cabins are from the moment you enter the door to soft music playing to walking through the open space to the deck with amazing views over the country.  A King size bed with gas fire place to keep you cosy and warm from through chilly nights with deep spa bath to soak away those stressful days this place is a perfect couple getaway.  Full equipped kitchen to cook up breakfast which is provided, as well as bottle of wine with small cheese platter on arrival.  Spacious size shower and bathroom facilities everything is clean and comfortable.  Lots of windows to provide views from any part of the cabin overlooking mountains and beautiful countryside.  Barb and Lloyd were wonderful hosts who were quick to response to any request.  Definitely recommend this beautiful peaceful getaway.

Relaxing Getaway

I booked the yabbaloumba retreat to propose to my now fiance. Barb and lloyd went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Such a stunning location and the rooms were beautiful. I honestly couldn't have asked or wanted anything more.

Wonderful night away with superb service.

This is a real find. We have been twice now. As soon as you arrive you start to feel how special the place is. Soft music playing, friendly notes to get your orientated, complimentary (very good) wine in the fridge with a little cheese plate plus all the trimmings for a hearty breakfast you can cook yourself on the electric grill outside the next morning. We had the complimentary fruit platter first with the yoghurt (and then enjoyed a morning spa bath), and then enjoyed the full cooked brekkie later for a brunch. Coffee, milk, condiments all provided. So many nice touches like candles, binos and bird book etc. We would chill and watch the view outside all day if we could. The bathroom and shower is huge, everything feels new and very clean. Excellent location to the national park for walks and trips to Eumundi or Maleny / Monteville. A perfect place to reconnect with your partner. They also have an extensive DVD collection you can choose from at the main house however we didn't use the tv and preferred to make the most of the spa bath.

Romantic Luxury Retreat

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle. Very clean and comfortable accommodation with many well thought touches including welcome bottle of wine and cheese platter. Breakfast was fresh, warm croissants delivered daily.

The property itself is lovely - wish we'd explored more!

If you're looking to switch off, I couldn't recommend this place more.

Perfect weekend escape

Excellent location and welcoming hosts. This is a standard that other accommodation providers could only dream of. It scores 10s on every aspect, amenities, views, comfort and country quiet. The only way you might not love it is if you don't like the idea of a spa by the (gas) log fireplace, looking at star covered skies, or preparing your 4 course breakfast at your leisure with the covered BBQ to eat on the sunny balcony overlooking the cattle, sheep and geese far below. You might have some grazing sheep and goats wander by, you will probably see the gaggle of geese line up to head to the distant dam from the evening. There will be birds... No clocks to distract you, but you can set your body clock by the sun, or by the 8am delivery of warm croissants to your door. Everything else you could want will great you when you arrive, even a chilled bottle of quality wine and a (Kenilworth of course) cheese platter. Even the water is perfect!  Its got 5 stars and deserves it... a weekend retreat, or longer - :) no kids so its perfect for a recharge!

Just had the best weekend at Yabbaloumba Retreat for my grandsons wedding.
Highly recommend this venue, whether it be for a weekend or special occasion.
The Villas are fantastic or if you prefer Glamping the the Tents a great.

Wedding Venue

We spent 3 nights at Yabbaloumba Retreat and absolutely fell in love. The cottage was the perfect size for two people and very luxurious. It included a kitchen, bathroom (with a shower big enough for two people two bath robes and hot water!), king sized bed, electric fireplace, a couch and tv (included a dvd player and the hosts provided a library of dvds), and a private spa and balcony. Breakfast of fresh hot croissants were delivered at 8am every morning and other breakfast items e.g. milk, museli, yoghurt and fresh fruit were replaced daily. Upon arrival, a bottle of white wine, cheese platter and ferrero rochers were in the fridge and basic toiletries were also included. Being surrounded by nothing but nature, farm animals, singsong birds and fresh country air was so relaxing and we wished we could have stayed longer. My partner and I did some day trips to Maleny during our stay but could have also been happy enough to just stay in the cabin all day. The hosts also allow you to walk through their property and we were lucky enough to be able to feed and hold some baby lambs. Something that people should know is that there is no wifi or phone internet available at the cottages. We drove to either Kenilworth or Maleny in order to get a wifi connection. Having no wifi was not a big deal though as it was good to completely disconnect from the world and enjoy the environment. The hosts were friendly and approachable and definitely made our stay more comfortable. Our only negative about the cottages is that the bed pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. We brought our own pillows from home but this issue should be something that is not up to the guests to resolve. Besides that, I strongly recommend this retreat and my partner and I are already discussing coming back.
