Fantastic price for a comfortable room and bed. 
We were upgraded to a family room with a bath and a very comfortable bed and good heating .
A nice walk in to the picturesque main street and great food at the pub.

Lovely comfortable motel

Disappointing, the shower grout was extremely mouldy and hair from the previous guests still on the shower wall. The standard of this motel has rapidly declined. It used to be spotless and well maintained. The last two visits were not good, we won't be returning.

Nice Motel well kept clean & spacious room. Welcomed with a smile by friendly staff  if staying in town you can do much worse. would we stay again yes we would. Just a short walk from main street where you can grab a coffee etc. Remember this is a small country town so you will not find your takeaway outlets. The motel does offer meals & also sells to the locals as the takeaway i found out. We stayed here to do our balloon flight. Please be aware to let the guys know as balloon flights can go over & make checkout times close. Thank you to all the staff keep up the good work.

2022 Anniversary Holiday

While this hotel is a little dated, it's in a good spot, the room was very clean, and even with two beds (double and single) and a small table and chair setting, it was spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were very cheery. 
It's an easy walk to the Old Main Street. Find your way to the Belubula River and cross over the Suspension Bridge- that was fun, too!
This hotel is worth coming back.

Nice place to stop.

We visited Canowindra on 26/01/22 in order to see the wonderful, world-class, Age of Fishes Museum.
We stayed one night in the Riverview Motel.
Reception was courteous and efficient.
The location is a short walk to town and with a landscape view.
The room was impeccably clean and well equipped.
A bonus was the availability of first class Indian food, prepared on site by management.
The cost of the room and meal was very acceptable.
Parking at the door.
We'd certainly stay there again.

Excellent accommodation in a lovely town

We have stayed at this motel 5 times, the hosts are friendly and welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are the cleanest we have stayed in. Canowindra is a quaint fascinating town, lovely cafes and friendly pubs. Haven’t gone up in one of the air balloons but it is very popular. Breath taking views. Thoroughly recommend

Clean large rooms

A great find 300m from the Main Street. Very clean spacious comfortable rooms.  Modern contemporary interiors. The owner is very helpful and made our stay so easy. Walking distance to the old historic town main st. 

Comfortable and convenient 

Our room was  very clean and had a modern decor. The motel faces the river and river flats. It is within walking distance of the centre of town say 10-15 mins. 
Bed was comfortable and shower good, Owners were friendly and helpful. There are a few eating options in town including a returned soldiers club plus hotels. We chose the Restaurant in the Royal hotel and the food was good.
Would stay there again if needing accommodation in Canowindra

Overnight stay

On checking in the owner was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and offering to make a reservation at a nearby hotel if needed.  Our room was very clean, spacious and nicely furnished.  The queen bed was comfortable, there was good hanging space and a microwave, crockery and cutlery.  The bathroom was also spacious.  There was parking outside the door and it was an easy walk to the historic main street with cafes, hotels, supermarkets etc.
