Park was very well laid out, clean and well maintained. Signage was good. We stayed in a self contained cabin which looked to be quite new. It was a good size and has everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was larger than most with good hot water and pressure.  We had a great night sleep there.

Unexpected gem.

What a fantastic caravan park.
Along the perimeter, there are 70 little cottages.
The caravan sites are very nice and have concrete slabs.
The amenities are excellent and kept clean and tidy.
There is also a lovely little pool.

Great park

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the cabin is very comfortable and quiet.
I stayed there for 7 nights, but only had housekeeping twice. 

The food from the restaurant is the worst I've ever had. It left a worse taste in my mouth after I found out that they charge $30 per meal, which my company ended up paying a whopping $60 per day for horrible food..
I didn't want to go for a drive, unfortunately there isn't anywhere I could grab food from in close distance.

Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chinchilla Tourist Park. We stayed in a cabin which was spacious and spotlessly clean, had comfy beds and we made use of the cooking facilities provided. This park is very well maintained, quiet and we got a friendly welcome when we arrived. Highly recommended! Thanks for a great stay! 😊

A good choice for Chinchilla!

Stayed here on the last night of our 16 night trip out west and hands down the nicest park we stayed in. The caravan site was positioned well and all close to amenities.  The amenities had large modern shower cubicles with ample room and a large bench for all of your things. The amenities, laundry and camp kitchens are remarkably clean and well maintained. The managers were so helpful and friendly and couldn't be more obliging with advice, information and help over the phone and on our arrival. Can't wait to stay again, thank you!!!

One of the Best!

This was my 3rd stay here , once again great.  Big rooms, very clean bathrooms
Huge television and just  very comfortable.  The place is just immaculate, it is the only place to stay in Chinchilla as far as I'm concerned .

They only place to stay

The best most accommodating place I’ve stayed in a long time!! Weary business traveller with a little dog needing somewhere to stay last minute and they could not have been more helpful and kind. Cleanliness of cabins 10/10, meals 10/10, service 100%! Thank you! I will be back.

We've been on the road for two weeks and stayed in multiple caravan parks from east coast to outback, and nothing compares to the high standard of Chinchilla Tourist Park.
With modern rooms and ammenities, excellent staff and a restaurant with unbelievable home style cooked meals and deserts.
Great way to end a 4,500km holiday.

BEST STAY

Thanks Lindi and Warwick, this has to be one of the best run parks!  We have travelled for many years and seen some great parks, but this one ticks all the boxes.  Fantastic managers to whom nothing is too much trouble, always a smile and a wave.  A small easily accessible dam is also on the property filled with yellowbellies and yabbies to fish for - great for all ages.  A restaurant spotlessly clean and with fantastic staff - what a bonus! Amy had a great personality and was so very welcoming - large portions and BYO - how good is that! The pool was really inviting and soooooo clean! The whole park has noting out of place - showers and toilets super clean and spacious with plenty of hooks for your clothes and towel. What a great place and superb hosts

Good signage from the highway to the Park.  Friendly and welcoming at reception. Quick check-in. Received a $4 p/n discount by showing our Seniors Card. Great guidance and direction from manager on parking the van.

The beautifully landscaped van park had grassed areas and we had a cement slab.  It was a great set up although the angles of the van parking were a little tight and could have been at a slightly better angle especially for larger (27’) vans.  They also had Villas on site along with a little park and dam.

Amenities were close to the vans and were ultra-clean. There were 2 showers, 2 toilets and 1 ambulant in the Ladies – plus there was a “non-gender” shower/toilet.  Laundry facilities adjoined the amenities block and on the other side was the handy Dump Point area.  The camp kitchen looked quite new and a pretty good set up.  Free Wi-Fi.

Good food selection at their dining room with COVID style buffet – dinner $30 (5.30pm-7.30pm) and breakfast $20 (4.30am-7.30am) which you needed to pre-book.  There was a pool behind the Reception building with an Ice Machine at the front.  

The relieving managers, Ian & Karen were fantastic – great hosts.  They chatted to everyone throughout the night in the dining room at dinner time.
