This place was simply spectacular.  Arnaliese was amazing.  She was so helpful even before we even arrived.  So friendly.  I had messaged her previously to booking because I wanted to ask a few questions and she answered all of them. This place is stunning and so beautiful.  The location is brilliant.  We walked everywhere.  Very central.  The views. Just wow. We met people who were also staying at same time who will probably be life long friends. Everything you need is available and the house meets any need you could ever have.  I cannot thank Arnaliese enough. The value is superb.  We're from WA and already planning our next trip. We will definitely back.

WOW is all I can say 

We had booked to stay in this beautiful bed and breakfast but at the last minute had to change our accomodation. The lovely lady who owned the house was extremely accomodating towards our change and made sure we had found suitable accommodation before we cancelled. We were given a full refund and I can not speak more highly of the wonderful service.

Exceptional service

This is not a BnB it is a house, full of owners goods and shackles. Breakfast was “help yourself” inclusive of their butter and spreads (unacceptable) no Covid protocols at all, bathroom had 1/2 used cakes of soap, no security, other guests children in our room? Second family arrived after Host had advised we would be there by ourselves! Second family had master and front bedroom with us (a couple) stuck in the middle room! Second family female assured us she would have the children use the ensuite, this did not happen so we were sharing a toilet and bathroom with unknown children! We came back from wedding (mid afternoon) to a quantity of screaming kids running all through house! Could not wait to get changed and get out! Did not see Host at all….could not wait to get up this morning and leave as soon as we could! We had 3 coffees in total as we were not prepared to have to use opened and used butter and spreads etc from unknown amount of people over goodness knows how long…..1 key for house was left for 2 family’s,  front door was not locked! Find somewhere else!!!!

Do not stay here

Beautiful home lovely room but mattress was old and it was a help yourself breakfast!  Not what I expected for the price paid and Also was overcharged ! Annalise was very welcoming at night but did not see her at all in the morning.

Place was nice enough. Absolutely not dog friendly unless your dog it's a lap dog. Paid $25 extra per night for my pup to be tethered to concrete without cover. Also turned into a halfway house halfway during my stay with a family moving into the garage with a large dog who didn't stop barking THE WHOLE TIME.

Give it a miss.

My family booked Bella Vista at Raby Bay as we were invited to a wedding, having to travel from Sydney. The owner, Analise was very friendly at the time & the residence looked beautiful so we paid a small deposit in January 2020 to secure it for a couple of nights. However, when the government stopped all domestic flights due to the virus, I immediately called her to advise that the wedding was off & asked for our depisit to be refunded as it was paid via credit card. She assured me it would be done over & over again over several weeks but it never happened. She gave every excuse under the sun to which my gut told me something was not quite right. Several emails, texts & phone calls later, she advised that since it's been 3 months since the deposit was made, the card could could not be credited to which she then asked for other bank account details, all of which was supplied. Still nothing, no explanation but now blocking my number. My husband called to take over, again, more excuses. I did in fact manage to call from another number & when she realised it was me, she hung up ! Not only is this unwarranted but also rude. What business owner acts like this? She is a very rude, unprofessional owner, not to be trusted or have dealings with. A thief is the correct word. No valid reason was ever given for not refunding our deposit. I had remained calm & patient during our communication but she continually lied & came up with excuses. Do not recommend this place simply because the owner is very unprofessional & cannot be trusted.

Co-Vid Wedding in Brisbane April 2020. Did not happen. Was booked but deposit not refunded.

Annalise is the most welcoming host we have experienced in our travels. Loved the homely feel, gorgeous view, lovely room and cutest dogs. Had a great night with other guests over takeaways and wine. Thoroughly recommend this place. Thanks Annalise

Loved our stay

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with this B&B. We stayed for one night and from the very start as we entered the house the lady working there greeted and showed us around and made us feel at home. We had the king suite and it faced the infinity pool which faced the canals. The en-suite had a his and hers sink with a large spa bath. The bed was clean and extremely comfortable to sleep in. We didn’t feel closed in because we had access to the whole house like the the living room which has Netflix, wireless internet and breakfast with a variety of different cold foods, different teas and coffees. There was one other guest which was ok.
The owner was very communicative and helped me to get a last minute reschedule of reservation.
Overall if you ever wondered what it’s like to spend the night in a luxury bayside home this place is it. 

Perfect for a luxury night away

I can’t believe the miserable response some people have given on this site to this lovely B&B. Sure, if you want a bland business motel there are plenty around. Go for your life. If you want to meet some lovely local people, get great advice, a nice chat and a comfortable bed in a luxurious family home, come stay here. 
Arneliese was very friendly and went out of her way to make me comfortable, even though it was just the one night. The other guests too were friendly and interesting. I’d certainly come back.

Warm, friendly and unique

We arrived, no onsite parking. We had to park in the vacant house block next door.
Walking in, the lawn Wan not mowed and the garden full of weeds.
The host (Annalise) showed me the Queen Garden room that we booked. The view from the window was a trampoline.
The host then seen I was not impressed and offered an upgrade to the main bedroom. Not wanting to stay in the other room, I had no choice but to pay for the upgrade.
The main bedroom felt like it was hers, and that I was encroaching on her space. 
We brought in our bags, went to unpack on to find the wardrobe was full of clothes.
The ensuite bathroom had all family toiletries in it.
My partner started to get an allergic reaction to something. 
We had to go outto shop. We we can back with drinks and snacks, I went to put them in the fridge, but it full. She ended up moving stuff from the vegetable crisper.
We then decided to go out because something there was affecting my partner's asthma.
By that time, the host went out to the bank.
On the way out, I could hear a noise and found dog's in the garage.
We left, my partner took as much antihistamines as she could. We can back at around 9pm and decided that we could not stay for health reasons. So I sent Annalise a detailed message of why we had to leave.
She met us in the morning, apologized for the dogs and said she would refund us. Although Booking.com is refunding there booking, Annalise has renigged and will not refund the money she debited from my credit card.
The property was also very unorganised and I took photos of the mess including power cords across from the dining table to the power point that were actually in mid air and a definite trip hazard.
Never again.
This is not what Australians expect a B&B to be like.
