A great overnight stay in a clean, comfortable quite spacious room. The location is quiet and the manager was friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. Chairs are also outside the room if you want to sit and enjoy the fresh country air.

Comfortable country motel

Very clean, tidy, well set out, had everything, modern styling in a standard motel setting. Welcoming reception/manager/owner??  Great info booklet, big bar fridge, fan, aircon, heater, mid size TV, EXCELLENT price. I give 9.9/10.

Economical but excellent.

We stayed here on our trip from Sydney to Broken Hill, just for a night. The motel is a pleasant surprise, nicely renovated without losing it's 70ies charme. Spacious rooms, comfy bed. The welcome at the reception was super friendly. Overall, great stay and we will definitely stay there on future trips.

Good country motel

Friendly managers at reception. Quiet location, neat clean comfortable room with a quiet air conditioner, great shower (hot and strong), amazing bed. What more could you want? A great price? You get that to. This is definitely worth another stay.

The room was bigger than expected. Bed was firm but comfy to sleep. 
Air con worked well
Well equipped with, plenty of lighting
Easy parking 
All  staff were polite and friendly 

Shower was spacious and good flow of water 
Only disappointment was no biscuits to have with a cuppa.

Pleasantly surprised

Stayed one night to break up a long drive. Check in was easy and quick. 

Parked at the door to the room.  

The good - comfy beds and pillows. Air con heater. 

The not as good - quite a bit of truck noise in the morning.

This is an honest country motel, and is pretty good. We'd stay here again. 

Honest country motel

Only needed to stay for one night as we were just passing through this was one of the cheaper motels so wasn’t sure what to expect very pleasantly surprised the lady on the front desk was really nice and very helpful the room was well set out and super clean I would not hesitate to recommend this motel and would certainly stay here again

Great value for money very clean

A nice option for staying in Cobar. A lot of fly in fly out  miners staying so quite busy,  but they didn't make any noise and it was actually quieter than I thought  considering it's also on the main road to Bourke. Had a great night sleep. Room is spacious. Both bathroom and room are very clean. Good shower. Had everything I needed. Only a short walk down to the main street. Good pub meals and Thai restaurant close by, just ask reception for directions, it's an easy safe walk. Will be staying here again on my next trip to Cobar. 


Spacious comfortable, clean room

Lovely clean place. Comfortable rooms with good air con and tea coffee making facilities. They give you fresh milk as you check in for coffee. Wifi very good and great location. Manager was very pleasant and room was nice and dark so we slept very well. Would recommend. 

Stop over on way to Broken Hill

We stayed in this well-run and convenient motel on a long return trip to Broken Hill, we could only  stay one night.  Michelle was most friendly and hospitable, and gave us a quiet room, #5. Michelle also gave us some tips for eating out, we ended up athe Great Western Hotel, which was very satisfactory, and even quite fun.
 Our room had everything necessary, it was a pretty standard size motel room, very clean, comfortable and well looked after. Not much room to spread out with the toaster and so on, but we managed nicely.
We'd stay again.
