Clean & functional.
Comfortable bed.
Door was originally glass but had been modified by sticking contact on the glass to stop light coming in as well some fabric on the back of the door.

Solid curtains but no sheer curtains so you couldn’t open the curtains to let light in without be open to the public.

Aircon was good.
Reasonably quiet.
Easy checkin & out.
Good parking & access.
Close to shops & cafes/restaurants.
Close to beach.

Clean & comfortable

We were stuck for accommodation because booking.com stuffed up. In the middle of high season, odds of finding a one night stay were negligible. A friend of ours contacted Surf Beach Motel and the were very accommodating. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The room itself was fully equiped for disabled patrons, though we did not need that. It was in very good nik, very clean and functional. The King bed was literally a dream and I slept like a baby. Check out was simple again with excellent customer relations. When in Coffs, that is the place to stay.

Heaven sent

This motel is an absolute gem. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Television was a good size. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The motel is a short walk to coffee shops and the bowling club which has an excellent menu, Asian and Australian. The beach is directly opposite and there’s a lovely long walking/bike pathway along the foreshore. The motel is situated away from the CBD and very quiet. The lady at reception (red haired) was very helpful a d friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Spotless and quiet

The rooms at Surf Beach were just right for us. We only needed a bed as we have family there and used the motel only to sleep in but it had everything you would need for a holiday. And the location is excellent. Right opposite the beach and nearby is the Bowling Club and great cafes. It is our first choice now for accommodation.

Great place and very reasonable price.

Stayed at the Surf Beach Motel for a night with my mum & sister on our way through to Sydney.   Had everything we needed, the rooms were clean, good ammenities, comfortable beds & friendly staff.   Walking distance to the bowls club which made it easy for dinner, and close to the surf club.

Clean, friendly staff.

This is the second time we have stayed here, never disappoints! 
Friendly staff, very clean, modern rooms & quiet. Close to the main shopping area and a short walk to the bowling club. 
We regularly recommend family and friends to stay here.

Great accommodation

Stopped for a night, room was basic but comfortable and clean. Curtains blocked out light well, don’t recall being disturbed by noisy road or neighbouring guests.
Right near the beach. Staff were friendly.

Clean and comfortable

Stayed here overnight on our way to qld, it was very basic but clean which is all we wanted. The young lady at check in was lovely, friendly and very informative and knowledgeable on the local area. Large bed but a bit soft for us. It would have been very quiet accomodation if it wasn’t for the young men that were staying in the adjacent apartments (different property) that are exceptionally close! Their noise echoed straight into our apartment with doors banging men coming and going and partying till all hours! Shame 😞

Basic and clean 

Sunday night stay. We stayed overnight in a very comfortable and modern room. The linen and bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional. Off street parking. Close to the beach. No swimming pool. I believe at $165.00 for the night it is overpriced for the room, compared to what else is around in the area. That aside you won’t be disappointed. 

Good but overpriced. 

The unit was small but very clean, lovely bathroom, good bed, great location, across the road from the beach.   Parking was very tight, especially for our 4X4 vehicle.   One minor complaint/ there were no biscuits to have with our cuppa!!  It's the first motel we have ever stayed in where there weren't any biscuits!!!   My husband walked to the little corner store/service station and got some! We paid $145, which I thought was quite expensive. It was a long weekend and in the school holidays so all that considered perhaps it was competitive.  Very little traffic noise, even tho we were on a main street, so rooms are pretty soundproof.
