Everything was ready to make you feel like you have escaped to the countryside for good.

A beautiful experience with gorgeous views, bush walks not far away, town centre walking distance. 

Facilities were fantastic with a great shower, delightful bed, beautifully decorated and all the little extras you can imagine to make your stay feel effortless and at home. 

Being able to use the tennis court was extra special. My partner won 3 out of 6 games which is obviously attributed to the magic of this place (seeing as that has never happened before).

All in all highly recommend this beautiful accomodation.

Beautiful Secluded Country Life

My wife and I stayed at Cromwell House for three nights in August 2016. We were met with a most gracious welcome by the owner/operator Steve Allen as we drove in, which instantly made us both feel relaxed and special. Steve took us on a tour of his beautiful house, pointing out the main parts of Cromwell House, which a guest needed to know. After that, the three of us sat down and Steve enquired as to what we were looking to do during our stay in beautiful Cooma. Once Steve knew what we were looking to do during our stay, he provided great information and advice. All in all, his approach was warm and inviting, as is his beautiful home. Steve allocated us the Hain room, which we found wonderfully presented and right across from our personal bathroom. Each morning we sat down in the dining area to a beautifully cooked and well presented breakfast - yes you guest it, by Steve. My wife and I had an absolute fantastic stay at Cromwell House and were genuinely sad to leave. My wife describes Steve as an 'absolutely lovely guy' and I have to say, I totally agree with the label she has bestowed on Steve. During your lifetime, you come across genuinely beautiful friendly people and we find Steve Allen to be one of those human beings. We both wish him the absolute best of good fortune for the future and beyond. To Cromwell House, you made us feel welcome, warm and safe - thank you.

A beautiful house, owned and operated by a wonderful host

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at beautiful Cromwell House. A very warm welcome from our host, who showed us around this gorgeous house, and then to our large and very well appointed room. It was typical Cooma winter weather and to be able to sit in the comfortable lounge each night with the roaring fire, was just what we needed. It was very cosy, warm and comfortable. After an excellent night's sleep in a very comfortable bed, we had an amazing breakfast each morning, cooked by our host.
Steve is a very friendly and welcoming host. He has created an atmosphere of feeling like his place is your home away from home. We can't wait to return!

Luxurious Bed and Breakfast in Cooma

What a delight it was to be able to stay at this beautiful BnB again.

It had been quite some time since my husband and I had been able to stay with Steve and we can attest that this is the best and only place to stay in Cooma for any occasion.

Steve remembered that my husband loved Steve's delicious homemade melting moments and a plate was waiting for him in our room with an invitation to a light afternoon tea later that day.

Our room was again beautifully appointed and the view to the tennis court with the grapevines hanging down was such a sight that I could imagine us both sitting somewhere in the middle of Tuscany.

Steve made sure that we were comfortable throughout our entire stay and even went as far as making as a dinner booking as his favourite place.

Breakfast in the morning was lovely & relaxed with yummy homemade goodies.

Steve is the consummate host, don't be afraid to ask for anything, he will make sure that your stay is a memorable and happy one. The bottles of water beside the bed were a welcome touch after a walk home from dinner.

We won't leave the gap between visits this long again.

Too long between visits

My husband and I have just spent two nights at Cromwell House. It was absolutely charming. Our host, Steve, made us feel extremely welcome including greeting us with a freshly baked tea cake! Our bed was very comfortable and the outlook from our room over the clay tennis court and garden was delightful. We have stayed at Cromwell House a few times now - as we regularly travel to Cooma for business - and would highly recommend it to anyone who is not just looking for a bed in a motel but accommodation with that special something extra.

Home away from home!

Arrived at 4.45 pm on 9th Steve still working. While waiting for Steve observed the grounds to be very tired dry and overgrown with weeds. Steve showed us the room options which didn't include personal bathroom. It was a hot day and the west facing rooms were hot and didn't include an air conditioner ! This was enough to bid Steve fairwell adding to the fact that the tariff of $185.00 we were not impressed. Found alternative accomodation with aircon and much more reasonable rate
