We stayed in a studio cabin which were about 6 months old when we stayed. Still new so still nice which is why the review is rated 4/5. We stayed 3 nights. Basically the cabins didn't get cleaned during our stay which was not a big deal given it was just a 2 of us staying there but  it would've been good to be told this would be the case. Also note the walls are very thin so you hear every little movement and cough from the cabins next door.

Previously stated on a powered site and the park is good.  However, staying in a cabin this time and it’s very tired.  Hot water stopped during a shower.  Not cleaned properly. Mattress gave my wife and i a back ache that I never get. So many blatantly obvious maintenance items that appear to be ignored.  Eg, floor drain in bathroom was not fixed down and became a trip hazard if you happened to touch the drain.  Cabins are located adjacent to the boom gates, so constant car and truck noise certainly trains the experience. Staff were non fussed about y observations.   Simply not good enough for the money.  

Cabins and old, tired and only superficially clean.

Beautiful park, well kept, great amenities, pet friendly. Right on the beach, great park for kids. Highly recommend this caravan park. Lots to do for families staying here. Awesome camp kitchen, great rec room. Plenty of cabins if you don’t have a caravan of your own.

Best caravan park in Cowes.

We stayed in an Ibis cabin, and cannot recommend it in any way.  

Firstly, the room was dirty.  See the photos below, but know I only stopped taking photos as I was bored, not because I ran out of dirty things.  Secondly, the ibis cabins are at the entry to the park.  We were right next to the boom gate and speed bump, which made for lots of noise.  

On the plus side, the photos on the NRMA website were accurate, the Aircon worked well, and the bed was fine if you like the foam mattresses.  Oh, and the reception staff were friendly, but the office had closed by the time I realised how bad the room was, so didn’t get chance to ask for a move.  

Ibis cabins are old, tired, and mine was pretty dirty.

What an amazing park, beautiful view, friendly staff and the best amenities I’ve ever seen. Impeccably clean and heated. BBQ and even a coffee service on site. Lovely beach and amazing playground for the kids. We’re enjoying 4 nights here and will be back as we have family on the island.

Great vibe, friendly staff, amazing van sites and beautiful views. Super clean and well appointed amenities.

Stayed in a self contained standard cabin. Spotlessly clean cabin including the bathroom. Well furnished, excellent kitchen. Hot showers. Excellent service from staff. After hours check in process was seamless. They were even gracious enough to allow us to delay checkout by 45 minutes as we were running late.

Would definitely stay again

Don't get ibis cabin number 1.  It's closest to the road,  so you get traffic noise, plus we had to park our van on an angle to the driveway as this driveway is too short. Our van is only a Toyota Hi Ace. 
This cabin is also right next 5o the boom gate, so you constantly hear cars stopping and accelerating. 
We booked months out and were disappointed to get this dating when there are 5 Ibis cabins.

Give Ibis cabin number 1 a miss.

I booked the deluxe cabin because it had water views. However, they misled on 2 accounts: there are 4 deluxe  cabins they said "opposite beach" complete with pictures of sunset over the beach! How beautiful.  It cost a lot but with poor health and 3 little run away kids I could enjoy the view whilst resting in the cabin. But only 2 of the 4 "deluxe" cabins are opposite the beach. We had 1 further back with views of other cabins. But wait, they also gave as a smaller cabin than the advertised photo. You'd think being associated with NRMA they would be trustworthy but sadly not. So disappointing.  Then, the want to charge more than $20 per night for a 2nd car pin code even though you both fit.
The wifi was so slow you couldn't use it and only 1 device could log in even though you've booked a 6 person cabin.

Disappointed & misled: advertising of water views & larger cabins

The only thing to complain about is that the wifi is currently set at 1gb per device per day. With less things to do because of covid and with the rain coming down, we got through 25min of Shrek before it cut out. So you really need to rely on your own phone connection.

We had a fantastic 5 night stay over Xmas. The park caters well for all types of accomodation, ours was a Premium foreshore site that did not disappoint. Waking up to great views daily is a way to start your day. The site was generously sized and has been recently fitted with synthetic turf so there was no need to roll out the matting. We had an on-site coffee van opposite which was a bonus for a coffee addict like me. Amenities were kept spotless and facilities for the kids were good as well. The go-cart hire was a winner. 
My wife lost her phone that was accidentally picked up by someone else, Xmas Day of all days….Daniel and his wife (park managers) made every effort to track it down with success. Made our Day. Thanks Daniel!! 

We’ll be back and can’t wait
