Anna and her family offer a very warm and welcoming experience. The cabins are private and well appointed. The breakfast is REALLY good. Hospitality top notch. While the weather for our stay was unseasonally wet we still had fun. Everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Welcoming and Comfortable

We were made very welcome and got good advice on local outings and places to visit. Our cabin was a good size for the two of us. Breakfast couldn’t be faulted and the Davidson Plum Jam on our toast was delightful. Only a short walk to the local pub and wharf for croc tours.

Very Peaceful, Walk to Village

From the second of our arrival, Hayley and Mike made us feel at home. They provide an awesome breakfast, lovely conversation and well appointed cabins. Each cabin - very clean - has an ensuite, fridge, nice linens and towels and the location is superb being just 3 minute walk to the centre of the village. 
Hayley and Mike go the extra mile - they put in a night time fire with marshmallows for the kids, kindly provided some Daintree Ferry passes and have two very delightful dogs. Bella will do anything for a cuddle whereas Pinto is a little more discerning and requires a chicken treat first!

Amazing hospitality in Daintree Village

A big thank you to Hayley for the warm welcome to her lovely hideaway. The tropical fruit breakfast was worth the visit alone. All local produce from pawpaws to dragon fruit, served with a lovely natural yoghurt.
Our room was 3 spacious rooms really and a very generous veranda.
We would love to have stayed longer but bookings in Cairns had already been made.
Maybe longer next time Hayley🙂

A hidden gem in the Daintree

We had a wonderful stay here over the Easter break! The cabin was spotless and the breakfast delicious. Hayley and her two little dogs warm and welcoming with a few surprise Easter eggs to be found. 😊😊

Little gem in the rainforest 

The Village Hideaway BNB exceeded our expectations. Great location with everything in the area within walking distance. The BNB is set amongst lush rainforest flora and is true to the hideaway theme.  Excellent cabin accommodation with own balcony, short stroll to the breakfast and amenities area, great plunge pool, own bar and communal kitchen with everything on hand. Pub and cafe located in village only a short walk for alternative eating options. Daintree  River cruises only a few minutes away and a must do.
Haley and Mike are are fantastic hosts who offer great tips for touring the Daintree and Cape Trib. and serve up the best tropical breakfast, along with that familiar twist of "i's" and "e's"! Best 5 nights one could wish for. Hope to return.

"Best Hideaway escape".

Great place to visit, very green and gorgeous. Nice little tour of the place by the host. Exceptional breakfast cooked and served by Hayley. Really knowledgeable about the surroundings and all of Queensland really. Some great tips given. Large spacious rooms with aircon and fans. Very boutique experience which we loved. Cute little pups too

Beautiful visit 

Fantastic place to stay in Daintree Village. Fabulous hosts - thanks Hayley and Mike.  Lovely quiet spot close to the village, boat tours, pub, etc. Breakfast was beautifully presented, delicious and plentiful .You can use the outdoor kitchen area, beside the pool, to cook a meal or have a relaxing drink. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Enjoyable, relaxing  place to stay

I chose this BNB as the most convenient to a Boatmans Tour, and could not have been happier.

My wife & I had a wonderful 4 night stay in Aug ‘20. Hayley’s hospitality was exceptional, with great advice on local tours, restaurants etc. Our breakfasts were superb & nothing was too much trouble. The location is very peaceful in the rainforest with the stunning Daintree river close by. Daintree Village itself is one of the best locations in far Nth. Wld. Highly recommended.
