The managers of this motel recently had a vehicle knock down their large front neon sign...just lettering everyone know they are definitely open for business and are a great value place to stay on the coast

Don't drive by 

On Saturday night, me and my partner stopped here overnight. Management explains everything to you and is very friendly. Nice and close to the shopping centre. Across the road from the water, motel is nice and clean, shower is lovely and it has Foxtel for the NRL. The bed is nice and comfortable. Would stay again.

Great overnight stay in the Bay

We stayed here on our way from Sydney to Melbourne. The man at the front desk was super friendly, the room was clean and great location. We would definitely stay again. The fish and chip shop next door was also very convenient for dinner.

Overnight stay

Midweek visit to the South Coast to help to boost the local economy after the devastating fires.  Hotel is easy to locate and within walking distance to the main shopping centre, clubs, eateries etc. Spent a lovely afternoon walking around the area, stopping for drinks and eats along the way.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, quiet at night.  The room had a microwave and toaster for DIY breakfast.  

Overnight Stay

We did a last minute booking over the phone when we were about hour away. Friendly man on the phone who also greeted us when we arrived. Motel a bit dated, (although new bathroom) but very clean with great amenities. Bed was comfy too. For meals, a ten minute walk to a club.

Dated but clean and quiet.

Great budget motel. Manager was lovely and welcoming. 

Room was only a budget room, but was spacious and had everything I needed. 
Only downfall is that it needs a good clean! When I arrived there was a big pile of hair clogged in the shower drain.. and the cleaner even made my pet and gave me fresh towels the next day, and STILL didn’t clean it.. the room is great, but definitely needs a good clean in spots. 

Great location, lots of places to eat and see just in walking distance. Traffic isn’t too loud. Nice quiet motel. Decent sized car park. 

Nice budget motel 

Friendly staff and clean room great for an overnight stay. Basic room with air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities. No hair dryer but not an issue just informing for those how may want to know. Great for motorbikes.
 Close to the club and two doors down from a cafe that opens early for a good cheap breakfast. Would stay again.

Good for overnight stay.

Continuing our drive north up the Eastern coast of Australia. Next stop Bateman’s Bay and as usual we called to property to book for that evening. The staff were very friendly and booked for us one of their last rooms. Thanks to Chris for the choice of room, a spacious sized room with a queen bed, a single and a 2 person settee. The room was clean and tidy and comfortable.

A large TV and wifi access which was of good strength. For the tech savy, there were adequate number of power points. Microwave, kettle and a fridge with a freezer, a rarity in accommodation. For those staying several nights, the storage would be more than adequate. With both aircon and fan, there was no excuse for feeling the heat!

The access bathroom was well laid out and spotlessly clean. Hot water was in good supply and did not run out. Designated car parking was easy to access and to leave the property.

Just a short walk over the road was access to the bay with seating to enable one to relax and take in the great views and sunset. 

Access to facilities was not that far away with quite a few options available for dining.

Return? Yes especially for the laid back relaxing atmosphere of the property.

Good Atmosphere Good Value

Due to a big power outage caused by a fallen Tree we had to get a Motel for the Night . Unable to get into our favourite Motel we chose Beach Drive as it was walking distance to Restaurants etc. We welcome by reception and asked if they had a room for the night as we had no Power at Home . They were very friendly and said they did have rooms and they would give us a Queen room. This all sounded positive . On arriving in our Room we were greeted with a very small room  that had  a small double bed and  a single bed. The Double had one side pushed against the wall , meaning you had to climb across the bed to get in it . We did a bit of moving of the Beds so my Wife didn't have to climb over to get into Bed . The Bathroom had a shower cubicle , Toilet and washbasin with a small cupboard . What was really noticeable was the Smell of Damp . This really became apparent when we used the Shower ,Toilet or the wash basin as Water appeared from nowhere on the floor .  The Curtains were very Ill fitting and were roughly cut around the Window frames and the Window fitted Air Conditioner . There were several cracks in the Walls and the whole place could do with a complete overhaul . We found the Bed to be quite hard and Lumpy . Glad we only had to stay the one night.
