Perfect stopover between Cradle Mt and ferry to mainland - thank you!
We stayed here as a group of 20+ campers, after a week hiking at Cradle Mountain, before boarding the Spirit of Tasmania to Geelong (a ten minute walk from the caravan park).
Hot showers in clean amenities blocks, a grassy spot to pitch our tents, intel on good, local pizza delivery, super affordab

Great option for our one night stay
We checked in here after coming off the Spirit of Tasmania day sailing.
Arrived at the park at about 7.00, check in was very simple, lady in the office was very friendly.
We had booked a one bedroom cabin, our host had turned the heating on for us, so was very welcoming.
Our cabin was quite small b

Excellent.
After an extremely rough day sailing on the Spirit, all we really wanted was a nice warm shower and a comfy bed.
The lady at reception had upgraded us to a newly renovated family cabin, the heater was on and it was so warm and welcoming.
I would definitely stay there again, no hesitation.

A handy, no nonsense facility.
We stayed two separate nights in this park in our slide-on camper. One on arrival from the day ferry crossing from Melbourne and the other before our return day trip.
It suited us well. The nice lady in reception was most helpful both on the phone reassuring me about after hours arrival and again wh

Pleasant surprise
We thought we'd give this a go for part of our time in Tasmania.
While passing through Devonport we stayed in one of their two bedroom mobile homes/demountable and it was great. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and really good value.
We used it as a base to explore from Launceston to Burnie to crad

Great spot to stay after a day sail
We arrived in Devonport after a day sail on the Spirit of Tasmania. We rang after hours whilst on the boat (we had forgot to book in somewhere) and they couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The owner greeted us out the front of the caravan park, torch in tow. Such great service!

Clean and tidy park. Lovely to watch the spirit arrive and leave each day.
So convenient when disembarking from the Spirit. Everything clean and tidy although a little dated. On arrival we were given a site that our van would not fit because there was a concrete drain right in the middle. We just went back to office and we’re swapped to another site no trouble. Not sure

Confusing
We booked in here for 3 night with our caravan before catching the ferry back to the mainland.
The sites are small ( we have 20 foot caravan) and the A-frame is almost on the road when parked within the site ( lucky we were the only van and could use more space )

Basic but comfortable
Stayed in a cabin. It was clean & tidy, ample for what was expected. Check-in was super organised with friendly nice staff.
Everything seems family friendly. Nice playground right on the water too, connected by a locked gate to the park.
I could see it getting VERY cold in the cabins during wint

Poor value and not great
While it was clean and well enough equipped, our cabin was so old and very shabby. We had rough and noisy neighbours. There is usually something positive to say but in this case I cannot. OK, the grass was nicely mown. I would not mind so much if it was very cheap, but it was not. I suggest you avoi
