Excellent position - close to town, museum and wharf. Room was neat and well set up for limited self catering with plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs and wine glasses, toaster and microwave. Beds were comfy with new linen and pillows. Price was exceptional!

Best budget accommodation

We are on a road trip to Queensland . Our first stop was beautiful Eden . We asked for a room with balcony and view - we had room 16. Upon arrival , it was lovely to be greeted so warmly . Our room was a standard motel room but it has been renovated with a fresh coat of costal blue paint and had everything you could want . The price point made it a winner . Included was a microwave, fridge /freezer - bonus was ice in freezer , great split system heater/air conditioner,  kitchen sink to wash dishes , couch , coffee table that folds a away for convenience , lots of power points and mirrors , warm cosy blankets etc etc . It is a motel room . Don’t expect it be huge . We were very very happy and will 100% return . Location location - on the Main Street - within moments walk to takeaway pizza, hotel etc . Waking up in the morning to a spectacular sunrise was a bonus - see picture . We really just needed a comfy bed and it was perfect .

It was perfect for a one night stay in Eden. Off street parking and a great view from my upper storey room.
Very clean and comfortable.
Very well appointed and affordable.
Being in the main street, the motel is walking distance to restaurants, pubs, museum and shops.

Super comfy bed

Fabulous place. Refurbished in an excellent fashion. Clean, tidy, well equipped with everything you could want. And very well priced. Highly recommend! The location is great and the pub down the road serves excellent meals. A lovely lady runs the place and is very obliging.

Super clean, comfortable and friendly

Family run small motel in great location. We had a room at the back which looked out to the bay.  Good room size and immaculately maintained. The bathroom was excellent, very well maintained and cleaned. Walking distance to the club and pub and the little town.  Very friendly and helpful owners. 

Delightful motel

We had a very comfortable stay at Whale Fisher Motel after needing a place very last minute. We were warmly welcomed and given great local advice for our stay. It is in a great location to see many of the sights in Eden. Thankyou.

Just what we needed

Excellent service. We were travelling from Melbourne which is 560kms after 300kms we were turned back to go back to Melbourne which round trip is 900kms
We spoke to the owners at 3pm and they were Lovely and cancelled the room with no charge In what must be a very difficult situation with all the fires burning.
We hope to go back at another date.
There are not that many who would refund on the same day

Australia adventure 

We stayed here overnight, the beds where comfortable, the room was great value and the motel very conveniently located in town. The is plenty to see and do within easy walking distance of the motel and the reception staff where very pleasant to deal with.

Overnight Stop

Positives: Friendly hosts, good location, quiet, comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, excellent shower, well-equipped room (Room 8 appeared to be recently renovated and looked very modern).
Negatives (minor): bathroom washbasin very modern but too small to be practical, dining chairs extremely hard on the bum.
Have stayed here previously and, if in Eden again, would happily stay here again.
